Good quality vacuum sealer bags at a good price
Like the price of these vacuum seal bags and they seemed to work just fine in our vacuum food sealer. Only drawback is they did not provide a place on the bag to write the description of the food sealed in the bag, but that is no big deal, we just wrote the description on freezer tape and placed the tape label on the bag. It is almost easier to use freezer tape labels, versus if one tries to write on a bag that has already been vacuum sealed. The quart size are the best size and if one needs smaller size they can be cut in half and use the vacuum sealer to seal one end before filling with food.Bought a second set of these size vacuum bags, good quality has far as I am concerned. One hint when taping a freezer tape label it is advisable to staple the tape to the bag in a portion located above the thermal seal. Have found that sometimes the freezer tape labels fall off. Not sure if it is the tape or some film on the bag when handling. Have noted the tape will unstick if it is placed over the food portion if food is cold. We sometimes cool the leftovers in the refrigerator then freeze it the next day.

Pricey, but they work fine.
Not a lot to say about a vacuum bag, but these are sturdy, a good size, don't puncture, and take the seal well.* Size - I prefer this size (after many years of use, and trying other brands and sizes), as it fits nearly all meat from the grocery store, and that's the primary thing I use it for. I get meat on sale, then freeze them in these bags. Saves a ton of room in my freezer, rather than those annoying foam plates, and I can easily see what's inside.* Food - No more Freezer burn, even after a long time in the freezer. So much better, and well worth the money spent on the bags, to save on the price of the meat by buying only on sale.* Sturdy - I've thawed steaks in hot water in the sealed bags, and that works well. Hubby has used the bags on camping trips, to submerge in boiling hot water, to heat up the food, and no issues there. I've even hammered chicken breasts inside the bags, and didn't split them. That's pretty sturdy.* Price - is high for all these freezer bags, but this was the best price I found per bag (of this size).

Works identically to the WAY more expensive branded product
My first order of these bags was in June, 2018. Given the low pricing (by comparison to the branded product), I didn't know what to expect. Now that I've used them on a few hundred sous vide cooks, I'm totally convinced these are just as durable as the expensive bags.I've been using sous vide as a cooking method for over 11 years and because the branded bags were so expensive, I cleaned them thoroughly and reused them. After 10 years, this became habit. I had doubts that these Avid Armor bags would hold up to 2-3 time usage to which I had become accustomed. I am quite pleased to say there is no difference that I can tell. They seal perfectly, the seal holds on cooks as long as 72 hours. I have had only two seal failures in 11 years and both were my own fault.Naturally, the bags get smaller and smaller with each usage, but given I sous vide real meat for my 12 year old cat (3 oz per day) my last use of the smallest bag parts -- usually about 4x5 inches -- is for this. I do a month's worth of cat food at a time and have washed and re-used bags as many as five times. These bags easily hold up as well as the originals!

Very strong
I’ve purchased and used various sizes of the pre-cut bags for the last five or so years. Use them primarily for trout, deer and small game. But also use them when I buy in bulk at Costco. They are super strong. Only time I’ve had issues is when a sharp bone is sticking almost straight up and of course, that’s user error. But even then, I just take the entire bag and shove it in another bag and seal it again without repositioning the meat and it vacuums and seals fine. Very strong.

Great for the classic Foodsaver!
I have a 20 year old Foodsaver. Use it monthly for freezing bulk purchases of meat on sale. I started buying these bags several years ago and keep doing it because they are great!I love the ready made bags. Some people like rolls that you cut and seal both ends but using the bags is a huge time saver. Also, as good a value as these are, you won’t feel guilty using one that is too large for a piece of food.Perfectly compatible with my machine. Seals perfectly every time. They are just as thick as the name brand and have kept food fresh for over a year. You won’t regret this purchase.
