At the same time I upgraded my Lenovo thinkpad to Windows7 Professional, I needed to add more RAM and researched many, if not all, of the possible alternatives. The number got to be overwhelming and I needed to be certain that whatever I bought would work, without question in my ThinkPad. The last thing I needed was to purchase the RAM I needed from a place that had great advertising, but was not the right RAM for my computer. I might have saved some money had I gone a different direction, but the risk of a malfunction was greater than I was willing to accept so my research ended when I found this product. Installation was easy and straight forward, just take your time and do not rush the project. Also be carefull in the way you handle this or any RAM and do not allow any static to discharge into the modules while you are installing them. Everything worked as expected and when my laptop booted up the new RAM was instantly recognized and I am very happy with both this RAM and my Windows7 upgrade (which I also purchased from Amazon.com). Seems like you can't have one without the other.

Bought this to increase the speed of my sluggish Thinkpad X61. This module doubled the RAM from 2 to 4GB. And the laptop is a speed devil now! Well worth the $26, easy to install too.The hardest part is making sure you have the right memory module for your model computer and the right size memory. If you don't have a owner's manual, go to the website of your manufacturer and download a copy, it will give you the specs that will insure you buy the right module and the right size. You can usually find instructions/pictures on how and where to install the module too.

Worked just fine - as expected.There are really not that many possibilities if you are ordering the correct memory.I had a malfunctioning 1 GB DIMM in a T61 ThinkPad that I replaced with this 2 GB DIMM, bringing total RAM up to 4 GB.I only wish Kingston was still making the older 4 GB DIMM, that would have allowed a total of 8 GB in this now dated T61...

I bought this with the 1G memory also, because my T60 I guess will only recognise a max of 3G.Works as expected, I had no problems with this upgrade. I tried it out with my son's game (BF2) which needs good RAM memory to work well. The game worked realy good with this memory installed.The life time warrenty is great added benifit with this memory.

Much like no one ever got fired for buying IBM, no one should ever be fired for buying Kingston. They have great support and warranty. I used this to upgrade my Thinkpad x60. Just as a note, you can mix and match sizes. I have this DIMM (2GB) and a 1GB DIMM installed and it's running just fine!

No he encontrado una memoria de estas características con mejor precio. Es totalmente compatible y presenta un desempeño bastante aceptable. Lo único malo es el envío, nunca se especifica claramente el tiempo que puede tardar en llegar, pero puedo decir que llegó en buenas condiciones.

Hatte mit meinem Lenovo T61 immer regelmäßig Abstürze (Freezes) beim Internetsurfen.Nach einiger Zeit und Fehlersuche bin ich auf den defekten alten RAM Riegel durch Zufall (replace&wonder) gestoßen.Kingston liefert eine Top Qualität im Speicherbereich! Natürlich hätte jeder andere, stinknormale und eben nicht defekte noname RAM wahrscheinlich jetzt ebenso gute Dienste erwiesen. Aber nachdem vom Hersteller die Kompatibilität mit meinem Notebook garantiert wurde zahle ich gerne poaar Kröten mehr und dafür passt dann auch alles.
