Low flow, limited movement
This faucet looks great, but function is not where it should be. Limited movement and water pressure is too low flow for a kitchen faucet. The plumbers we hired to install it, even had trouble figuring it out.

Beautiful Faucet, but a bit awkward
I really miss the pull out sprayer in my old faucet. I suppose i'll get used to twisting and turning the karbon - it can point in any direction, but its a bit awkward to maneuver. as others have reviewed, the spray button on the end is annoying, since you have to turn the faucet off and then back on to remove the spray function and go back to the stream. The faucet looks great though, and thats really why i bought it, so no complaints there at all. Feels and looks very sturdy. Quality product.

Problematic for what it costs.
Pros: This is a very cool, sleek design. It opens up so many possibilities. The 360 degree articulation feels very natural.Cons: The button on the handle -only toggles to spray-. As in, you turn on the water, then toggle to spray. The only way to get back to stream (which is non-aerated) is to turn the water off completely, whereupon the button pops back out automatically. What this means is, when you're washing dishes, you've either got to leave the water on all the time (wasteful) or turn the water off between dishes, turn it back on, and toggle to spray (annoying). This is especially the case because the joystick-style faucet lever can give you whatever level of flow you want. The downside is, you get the flow level right where you want it, wash one dish, then you have to turn it off while you're drying/putting away, then get it riiight where you want it again.None of this is a terribly big deal. But for anywhere from $800-$1200 depending on where you shop, Kohler really should have thought of everything.Compares well to other products, but should have been much more than what it is.

Very happy with this cool Kohler faucet.
We recently had this Kohler Karbon faucet installed in our kitchen along with a Kohler sink. This faucet is definitely a conversation starter and everyone who sees it wants to try it. We are very pleased with it so far. It is VERY solidly made so don't worry about moving it around and manipulating it as it can handle it with ease. Also, the water stream is very very good so don't think the design of the faucet limits the power of the water coming out as it is just as powerful, if not more powerful, than any other kitchen faucet out there. From both a form and functionality standpoint we are VERY pleased with this Kohler Karbon faucet. One interesting thing to not is that the hole which needs to be drilled for the handle is a lot bigger than the hold that needs to be drilled for the faucet. Just something to be aware of as it is a little unique to this faucet design. We saved several hundred dollars by ordering this faucet through Amazon. We looked at this faucet in person at a retail store and it was almost $1200 with tax. Amazon sold it for just over $800. Amazing price difference and kudos to Amazon for saving their shoppers money. Love this faucet!

REALLY MADE OUR COUNTER TOP STAND OUT
GREAT PRODUCT. LOOKS GREAT. BE SURE AND CALL KOHLER ABOUT A DIFFERENT FLOW HEAD FOR IT. THE ORIGINAL IS VERY RESTRICTED ON WATER FLOW. THEY SENT A NEW AND BETTER ONE AT NO COST

Could be better
I do not own this, but had the opportunity to try it at the Kohler showroom. I will not be buying it because although it seems to be a good idea, I just did not like how it worked. Maybe it was how they had it installed, but it was stiff and difficult to manipulate. Also, the last piece that you hold is too short, even for my small hands. My hand got in the way of the water flow. Just my personal opinion, but I did not like the woven metal look.

Probaly the last faucet we will have to buy.
Having had bad luck with pull-out faucet hoses and sink hoses that catch on things, we looked at this faucet for quite a while before deciding to buy because of the cost. We got the stainless model.Installation: My husband's only negative comment about the installation was that the connection under the sink to the faucet upright should have been designed better. It requires a manual tightening that is hard to gauge. Within two weeks it had loosened and had to be re-tightened. He thought that part should have been easier to handle.Use: That said, using this faucet is so intuitive we have both been pleasantly surprised. The stream is totally silent. There is a button to change the stream to a spray and the faucet does everything we need it to do. It lifts high for big pots and tilts to reach sides of the sink. The more we use it, the more we like it.Support: We had a minor issue and found the company's support was excellent.3/2013 update: We still love this faucet and can't find anything negative to say.
