for 5.1 Rear speakers
Very sturdy. Holding up my Tannoy PBM 5 speakers which are 11.5kg (25lbs). Two of the four mounting holes are in a stud.

Great and can bear some weight.
It's a strong wall mount but mounting to wall studs only half the anchor holes will be supported because of the design. It is designed for concrete wall. Works great for these 14 pound speakers. Very sturdy as I used them.

Metal isn’t as strong as I thought
Too much trouble to pack and return to vendor but couldn’t use them. Good design but the material needs to be a heavier or thicker metal. Description showed weight capacity of 50 pounds but when extended, the arms bent with less than 50 pounds.

Handles heavy speakers if you have a solid wall feature to mount to.
These JBL CF100's weigh 32 lbs each. I didn't have the floor space to use my speaker stands, had to find an alternative. Theese mounts looked to have a decent range of adjustment, and a strong wall attachment piece. Space constraints meant a horizontal configuration. First, I located the balance point on the side. Next I made sure that the weight of the speaker would be above the plate pushing down, not hanging from it. Next, centered the speaker plate over the balance point so the higher freq. elements were closest to center of listening position. I used every screw hole available on the speaker plate. My log home construction has a solid 12"x12" beam topping the great room walls, so I used 3-1/2x5/16 lag bolts, not the supplied hardware. Also, the wall brackets supplied did not have evenly spaced holes and the speaker arm had to be flipped over to get at the locking screw. Mission accomplished. Doesn't look bad either. Center channel and a pair of back channels yet to go.

Heavy Duty Support
I used a pair of these for a wide, heavy center-channel speaker. Although only about 50 lbs weight (speaker), two were used for lateral stability as well as seismic-zone considerations. Anchorage was into drywall backed with 5/8-inch OSB sub-flooring board with Simpson Strong Tie self-tapping lag screws (SDS 1.5 inch). I had been looking for a strong and sturdy mount with tilting features. Recommended. Relatively low price compared to domestic manufacture heavy mounts.Looking at some of the other comments, I am reminded that the round plastic knobbed set screws are a bit hokey. I replaced with some short allenhead M6 cap screws to take the slack out of the telescoping arms. I torqued the cap screws down tight which would be impossible with the plastic knob screws. I should notethat brackets should be anchored into concrete walls or wood, but definitely not drywall.Amended from five stars to four stars for quality. But remains a good value.

Outside of the box
Instead of joining both brackets with the provided bolts, I slid them in between and let weight pinch them into exact position. Took some patience and a few choice word at first but now they’re level, plumb and spaced out correctly. Yep If it’s to loud you’re to old
