Glad I didn't read these reviews before purchasing, because I love these! Never had any of the problems other reviewers mentioned. They work great at clearing my pores.I have noticed some dryness and slight irritation, but only after combining the mask with a strong acne treatment like pure tea tree oil. When used without additional treatments, these dry up my zits overnight without any side effects!

My favorite sheet masks. I am obsessed with these I have probably gone through over a hundred! they really leave my skin moisturized and cleansed. Love the smell and the texture. By far the best masks Ive ever tried

I have these on Subscribe and Save, I love them so much! I have used these between professional facials and before special events and am amazed at how they clean my pores (removing blackheads!) and making my skin look glowy. I will continue to buy these because they really do make my skin look and feel awesome. I also buy the other Alba sheet masks available on Amazon and would recommend those.

Yes, your skin may be a little red and sting a little during and after- because its working. Boy, does this work. I use it once a week and its helped my cystic acne soo much. Will continue my routine! I look forward to my weekly masks.

The local health food store where I typically purchase this mask has stopped carrying them. I came on Amazon to purchase some more and was so surprised to see all of the allergic reaction posts. The first time I used the mask, I did also experience the tingling and "burning" and had a red face for maybe 20 minutes after. The redness went away and the enzymes in the mask eliminated rough, dry and flaky skin. It was similar to a gentle lactic acid peel that you get at a skin clinic, where you skin is red for a good while after. I did not experience any other detrimental effects. My skin was soft, supple, hydrated and pores clear. Alpha and beta hydroxy ACIDS can and will cause some burning occasionally, as the go to work deep within the skin. After the first time using the mask, I never had that reaction again. However, if I go a few months without using the mask and then do one, my skin may get slightly pink but nowhere near as strong of a reaction as the first time using it. I absolutely love the results I've achieved with this mask, especially the evening of skin tone and lightening of hyper-pigmentation. I use an Ayurvedic oil called "Manjish Glow" that has also really helped with the hyperpigmentation. Do not use a fruit acid serum (Like Mad Hippie's vitamin A or C serum) or glycolic acid product (such as the AWESOME Pixi Glow tonic. This one does burn upon first use, as a side note) or anything that has strong lactic acid or alpha or beta hydroxy action at any time near when you would be using this mask because you may have a stronger reaction to this. My skin type is dry and blemish prone. This mask does not cause me any acne and in fact seems to help it.

UPDATE:Ok, so I did freak out when my face turned beat red! Anyone would but it was red and warm for about an hour and slowly went back to normal with no damage to my skin. I did some research and it was design to pull the blood to the surface to help with rejuvenation and detox of the skin. My skin felt fantastic after and looks amazing. It definitely works. I would recommend but I would make sure you have time for it to work. Possibly, use at night before end.PREVIOUS REVIEW:I have never had an allergic reaction to any face product ever! I do not have sensitive skin and this mask burned my face. It didn’t hurt until I took it off and rubbed in as instructed. My face looks like I was in the sun for hours!! It’s warm and feels just like a sunburn! I hope it goes away soon!! This is terrible!!

First time I used this, I bought from target, but going to continue using. 10 out of 10 recommended.
