FLAMME Ashbourne Fireplace with 32" surround with 2kW Fireplace Heater White Multiple Colours Available

Bought this fire to plug a big hole in the wall where a hideous old gas fire had been.Delivery was speedy.The size is ideal in my small living space and the dark ebony look contrasts nicely with the light walls and chimney breast.It took me a while to put it all together, especially as some of the screws were a bit mixed up and I thought initially that they were missing. It was easy enough until the end: I never did manage to screw the fire into the frame, but it probably doesn't matter too much and it works anyway. The controls are simple and the fire is really useful when it's a bit chilly but you don't want to heat the whole house. It heats the space quite quickly too. The flame is not that realistic but nice enough and it's good to have that focal point in a room where they once had an open fire, in a period property. All in all, am happy with my purchase.

The fire came in two packages, one for the self assembly surround and one for the fire itself.Both were really well packed and protected by polystyrene so were unmarked and undamaged.The surround was easy to assemble with all of the parts clearly labelled and the fixings in separate bags.I put it together myself but would have been easier with two people, but still only took 20 mins. The fire slotted in nicely.The remote is easy to use and the four flame effects quite realistic.Looking forward to a toasty wintert.y

Altho not as big as I thought it is a lovely looking fireplace and very easy to put together and the seller was very helpful regarding delivery as they came separatelyHighly recommend

Really pleased and impressed with the fire and surround. Excellent customer service and help with assembly. Can’t get the mood lighting though, even though it has the connector inside but I have added my own

Really pleased with both the fire/fireplace and the service from the vendor. Received two days ahead of the estimated delivery date, very well packed. Easy to assemble with clear instructions and every part labelled. It fits nicely on the existing hearth and surround, so no re-decorating to do! The only criticisms are that there is no exit for the cable if you want the unit to sit flush to the wall, and the cable is black, whereas white would be preferable.That said, the heat output is great and the flame effect realistic. We found it hard to find a unit which would fit the limited space available, and are delighted with the Flamme Ashbourne Fireplace in the natural oak finish.

Arrived in the time stated,well packed. After unpacking all the pieces it did look a bit daunting as I am no D I Y expert, loads of screws and brackets but after screwing the first pieces together the rest just seemed to fit together really easy ,and the finished product looks great and feels very sturdy .I've put my 32" tv on top and looks brilliant .Very pleased with my purchase.

Cannot fault the customer service, it arrived within one day and is a lovely fire, however I ordered the natural oak and it's a lot darker than the photos advertising, I also compared it to one review which had a photo of natural oak and again mine is a lot darker...for me this is disappointing as I wanted light but couldn't deal with having to return it.
