My package did not include the whisk, which is the main reason I purchased the bundle.

The banneton is well made and turned out a perfect boule. The bread whisk also performs well as it cuts through the flour and other ingredients without clogging the beater. The bowl scraper is OK but would be better with a more rounded side to get to the bottom of the bowl. The cloth bag is perfect for keeping the crust crisp for a day or two, much better than a plastic bag. Artisan bread only stays fresh for a short period of time. I was very pleased with the whole package even though I did get it at a reduced price for my review. Generally at the full price it only covers the banneton and not all of the other things. This basket makes the loaf of bread rise higher and look more professional. The baked loaf comes out with the lines from the basket all around it, which gives it a great appearance.

I boil some water then take it off and let it cool for a bit, then place the basket over the pot for a nice humid environment. Made some tasty bread same day I got it..... WITHOUT THE WHISK. SEND ME A WHISK

I bought this with the hope that I would learn to make artisan breads. That has yet to happen but I was very pleased with the quality of all of the materials in the kit, especially the Dough Whisk. It is very well made and feels very sturdy, not cheap and flimsy like a lot of kitchen untensils do.I like that this kit contains all that you need in order to make the bread, minus the ingredients. Aside from the whisk, I especially like the bowl that can give the bread the nice marks that a lot of artisan breads have. Now I just need to get busy making bread!Based on the price and quality I would recommend purchasing this kit.

My wife watched a video on netflix about cooking and it they had some old-school bread making and she was enthralled with it. She said it almost looked meditative. So I couldn't pass up this bread baking package. It seems like all the bases are covered here for a complete setup. I'm saving this as a Christmas present so I'll update this review once my wife has had the opportunity to put it through it's paces.. but from what I can tell, this is quality equipment and I can't wait to smell some homemade sourdough bread baking in the oven..MMMmmmmmMMMmmmm!
