I am a gadget junkie but couldn't justify the purchase of an action camera as I don’t sky-dive, mountain climb, or swim with sharks. Besides I already have a video camera, a video camera on my phone, and own cameras that all take good video. However, recently I was trying to film how to set up a generator and it took me forever as I was constantly having to reposition my camcorder and re-shoot scenes.  I realized then that an action camera would come in very handy, not just for the camera functions, but for all the inexpensive Go-Pro compatible mounting capabilities currently available. (Purchase justified!) In searching for an action camera I was drawn to the WiMiUS 4K Action Camera because of Go-Pro mount compatibility and included accessories, the 16mp sensor, 2" LCD screen, 4k ability, 1080p @60fps capability, dash cam function, slow-motion capability, wi-fi, extra battery, and storage case. After ordering the WiMiUS 4K Action Camera arrived in 2 days thanks to Amazon Prime. It arrived undamaged in an attractive retail box (important if you are reselling or gifting). The camera looked nice (smaller than I expected) and the accessories looked to be of good quality. The storage case was also of good quality and was exactly the same as $10 case I had purchased separately. After I charged and installed the battery using the provided charge cradle and USB cable I installed a 32gb class-10 micro-SD card (not included) turned on the camera, and went to pair it with the app (XDV) that I had already downloaded and installed on my iPhone 6s. I had difficulties at first pairing the two until I renumbered I needed to go into the phone settings and choose the camera "WIMIUS" as my Wi-Fi connection.(You can also charge the battery while still in the camera without the need for the charge cradle.) Once connected I was amazed at how functional and intuitive the XDV app was. I wasn't expecting much from the app other than to be able to use it to start and stop video recordings, but was pleasantly surprised to see I could not only start and stop recordings and take pictures, I could also change all the camera and recording settings thru the app without touching the camera. The app also lets you view recordings and pictures and gives you the option to either delete files or download them to the phone. (The app supports landscape mode on both my iPhone and iPad.)You can also use the camera without the app or wi-fi, but for most cases I prefer using the app to control the camera.Note: If you are at home using your WiMiUS Action Cam or use a hot-spot your phone may automatically connect to those saved wi-fi spots. If that is the case make sure the camera and wi-fi option is turned on, then go into your phone settings and choose "WIMIUS" as your wi-fi connection. Then open the XDV app and choose "WIMIUS" under the wi-fi tab (default) and you should be connected. It was late and I was recording in dim light so I wasn't surprised that the video looked a little grainy. I then realized that I had forgot to peel off the protective plastic on the lens, once the plastic was removed the video look very crisp for a low light video. Once in daylight video quality went from good to outstanding. I am amazed a the quality of the video and pictures produced by this inexpensive camera. (pics and video coming soon) Note: Pictures are wide angled allowing you to capture more, however there will be a fish-eye affect which is common for this type of camera. As for 4k, it is a nice feature and produces some stunning video. However don't expect the 4k performance of cameras that cost more than 10x the cost of this camera. 4k videos are best for landscape and slow moving scenes. Fast moving scenes will result in video blur. (I use mostly 1080p 30fps for TV videos and 740p 30fps for internet videos.) Some other camera features I like:Loop Recording - Dash cam feature lets you record video in segment of 2, 3, or 5 minutes. This comes in handy as you can easily find the video segment that you want and delete the other video files.Slow-Mo Recording - You can get the same affect using software but it is nice to have this as an in-camera feature. Record at 1080p 60fps or 720p90/120fps.Video Time Lapse - Allows you to film video in .5s, 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, 30s, 60s intervals.Camera Time Lapse - Allows you to capture pictures in 3s, 5s, 10s, 20s intervals.PC Camera Function - When plugged into your computer you can choose USB Mode, PC Camera, Charging Mode Lastly, the included accessory mounts and waterproof enclosure are great, but I would also consider getting the following accessory mounts:1) Floating Handle Grip: Great for watersports.2) Velcro Wrist Strap / Mount: Good to have if your camera has a wrist remote or for mounting cameras to poles, etc.3) Suction Cup Mount: Needed for mounting your action camera on a windshield.4) Flexible Tripod: Provide plenty of shooting options. (One of my most used mounts).I was able to get most all of these accessory mounts and more in a kit for less than $10. You might also want to purchase some extra batteries which can be found for roughly $6 each. Overall I am blown away by the pictures and videos produced by this inexpensive camera. Also, the ease of use thanks to wi-fi and a great app make this action camera a winner. If you have a question feel free to ask me and I'll answer with what I can as quickly as I can. The camera looks well made. I have used it several times to record my offroading and the bumping and vibrations don't seem to affect the recording quality. It came with assorted attachments and mounts which provide multiple mounting options and even came with a watertight enclosure.

I am not an photography expert, but replays seem to stutter in both 4K and 27K. They look great, but there is a definite stutter.Now the good - 1080@60 is absolutely fantastic. Very rich and colorful, not washed out like the GoPro Hero3. White balance seems spot on and I get full and rich details in the shadows, not solid black like the SJM5000 Elite (I have both). Is it durable...I crashed my quad-copter from 400 feet no no damage (can not be said for the copter), I was totally shocked! Now for the best...included is a second battery giving me over 3 hours of recording time with out a pause AND a nice durable case in included so everything goes with the camera and there is a safe place for ALL the attachments, extra battery, and even the ties and cords. The case is $6 and the battery is $5 (both on Amazon) making the camera price really only $46.I also did an experiment with SD cards and found the the videos shot in the reviews were done with a low grade flash card. I am using the SanDisk Extreme PRO 32GB UHS-I/U3 (about half the price of the camera) and found all formats to record great. I used a SanDisk Ultra card and it records the 1080 fine, but the 4K and 27K were grainy. I think the card is just not fast enough to record 4K.

Seems to be a good camera so far. A little difficult to get the battery door open. Leaving the pull tab on the battery outside the battery door helps with opening it. The quality of the accessories is good, and the waterproof enclosure seems well made.

I love my wemius that I received it has all the items that were included in the description I tried it out it was very easy to use I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a quick Outdoors camera that's protected from the weather from dropping in water or on ground or on snow it's completely protected by the case that's included

Amazing deal. You get this action camera with display on the back plus a lot of accessories and super nice case. You just need to add a micro SD card and you are good to go. Excelente video and pictures. You can use the WIFI application but if you read the manual you will learn how to navigate the screen menus and you can set it up from there. I am looking to purchase another one to make videos from different angles.

Great camera for the price! Only issue is a button broke on 1st use. *Updated to 5 stars* . Seller reached out to me and replaced the camera at no cost to me. Camera works great, will be more cautious when pressing buttons on it this time just in case.

Works ok for a cheap gopro but its definitely NOT a gopro lol. Color is alittle off, battery dosnt last long but works for cheap.
