My life is forever tied to this phone case now
Let me tell you exactly what happened to me. At the time of buying this phone case (the dusky blue one with the grips on the back), I was pregnant, and man, was it an awful pregnancy. On top of some horrible conditions I was experiencing, I suffered from memory lapses and brain fog. Due to that, I wrote down everything I needed to remember for my daily activities and planning for my baby and kept them saved on my phone. Also, due to that, I forgot and left my phone sitting on top of my car as I dashed off to make it to my prenatal appointment that I was borderline late for. I have to say, I was not driving slowly to make it to this appointment. While stopped at a stoplight, more than halfway to my destination, I reached down to grab my phone to check my written notes, and my heart literally stopped when I realized I had left my phone on top of my car. You can ask my baby... she heard my heart stop. Immediately visions of my phone crashing onto the road and shattering flashed in front of my eyes, and I almost cried thinking about all of the information that would be lost. Still, waiting at that red light, I decided to get out of my car and check the top of my car anyways. THIS PHONE CASE FROM HEAVEN kept my phone stationed on my car exactly where I had left it. The grips on this case were SO INCREDIBLE that it kept my phone from falling onto the road as I drove rather speedily and made some sharp turns. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. My car was surrounded by other cars waiting for the light to turn green as I made the walk of shame to where my phone was sitting. EVERYBODY was looking at me, and EVERYBODY saw that my phone stayed up there. This is truly an amazing phone case, and I hope the creator of this case knows I would die for him/her, to be honest. As I have been telling everyone I know, I will never, ever buy another phone case again. My only requests for the creator... can you please make some with more designs?! Will you also please make the hole for the headphone jack bigger so that my AUX cord can fit in it without me having to remove the case? Thanks, love you.

Good Product with Stellar Customer Service
I am extremely happy with my purchase. I bought this about 7 months ago for my new iPhone 7 plus. I used to have an iPhone 5 with an otter box defender case, but when I got my new phone, I realized that such a case would be far too clunky than what I wanted to carry around. And I happen to be fairly clutzy and drop my phone pretty often so no case was not a viable option. But I wasn't sure if the speck case could handle the walking disaster that is me.So, naturally, over the past 7 months, I've dropped the phone on wooden floors, on the garagefloor and down some carpeted stairs. I've also wrestled it out of various children's hands (I have four.). But I don't think it broke until I dropped on cement...twice. (Yeah, I know.). Anyway, it took a beating and cracked on two corners (one more than the other) BUT my iPhone itself was PERFECTLY fine.I contacted speck and within two days they had a new phone mailed out to me. I received it within five days of contacting them. They were friendly and efficient: fantastic customer service. In fact, the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because technically, I only dropped the phone from a height of about 3-4 feet and it's supposed to be tested to 10. That having been said, I can't complain because they were more than willing to replace the product and get it to me quickly and, like I said before, it still protected my iPhone. (Full disclosure: I also have a screen protector on it, too. I'm sure that helped as well!)So, I have my new case now and I hope it lasts me longer but even if it doesn't, I can be confident in their lifetime guarantee:). Thanks, Speck!

Almost perfect case, but needs cover or cushioning by lightning port
This would be a 5 star rating if not for a couple of little things. The case looks nice, which is a good start. It does an excellent job of preventing the phone from sliding off of surfaces whether the phone is face down or face up. (Can't say that for most cases) I have only dropped my phone a couple of time since I bought this and it was nicely protected. I love the grips, which make the phone feel very secure in your hand. One BIG negative is something that could have been corrected so easily. When you hold the phone to use it in one hand, the only real way to support the phone is with your pinkie finger... and it ends up right by the hole for the lightning connector. The edges are not smooth, they are a bit sharp and it actually hurts and has started to create a callus on my finger. My daughter, with smaller hands, has the same exact problem. My OtterBox cases always had a flip cover for this connector which this case SHOULD have to keep lint and dirt out of the port. That would also give you a cushion for your finger. At the very least, some care to make this area smooth, rather than sharp, would have been beneficial. A good solution might be to get a PopSocket or other device to help hold the phone in one hand. But alas, the grip stripes on the back don't leave enough space to install one. I may have to switch to a new case just because of this oversight by Speck. What a shame...

Great but not sturdy enough
Very nice case. Extremely sturdy but rubber does wear out eventually but other then that, a fantastic product!

Works, but me no like it.
This case maybe offers really good drop protection but I cannot say I enjoy using it. Grip part works well especially when taking pictures and watching videos. But hard plastic, in contrast, is really slippery. I have been using Speck cases since iPhone 4. All the rubber Specks worked pretty well. I like to hold the phone in the middle and either put finger at where apple logo is or under the lightening port. None of those part are friendly to my dry hands. I am keeping this case as backup only for outdoor use. And rubber at sides are pretty worn off after a few weeks, Speck really need to make improvements or simply go back to good old designs.

Nice color/ gets dirty easily/ case wears a lot faster than older version
Like all Speck case I've purchased for my iphones (I've been using Speck cases since IPhone 3GS, and I change my iPhone every year), this case protects my phone and has a great grip. However, 1) the pink grip part gets dirty in a few short days even though it's for my normal, everyday use only; I tried cleaning the case but I cannot make it as pink as it was 2) the pink grip part is not as durable as the previous Speck Candyshell Grip cases. Wear and tear shows a lot faster on this case.I would recommend buying the black version of this case instead.

A case that nails it in virtually every area.
I initially submitted a review that questioned the new materials that Speck is now using in their Presidio line, stating that they've compromised the quality. In all fairness it was a bit hasty, and now that I've spent some time with it, it's become obvious to me that this a very protective case, even with the slimmer body, matte finish, and 20% reduction in overall size. Because I dropped a ton of dough on this 128g iPhone Plus, I feel much better with this case on when it comes to impact protection. As well, I absolutely love the fact that fingerprints and scratches are no longer an issue (two things that the candy shell is notorious for). It's one of my biggest gripes with most cases and the Presidio Grip has completely eliminated them with this new material. Because of its raised bezels, it also protects the phone's front screen, something that is imperative to me when it comes to choosing a case. It feels good in the hand, quite thin, contoured, and somewhat 'grippy' with its more prominent rubber lines. I will say that I was expecting something a bit more 'grippy' although I'm using this right after using an Apple silicone case, a case that it extremely grippy and satisfying to hold. It isn't nearly as protective as Apple's version however, which is ultimately why I decided to go with the Presidio. As well, as some have mentioned, it appears as though Speck kept the headphone jack cutout on this case even though the iPhone 7 plus doesn't have one. As you can see in the image I attached, Speck has fixed this with two precision speaker cutouts, eliminating the headphone jack cutout altogether. I think they were trying to sell to iPhone 6s Plus customers as well but obviously gave up on the idea with the new design. My only concern with this case relates to the rubber strips and how they'll hold up over times when it comes to wear and tear. I've noticed other reviewers commenting on this point in particular, showing screenshots of Presidios with worn down strips from being slid out of skinny jeans. Seeing that the 'skinny jean syndrome' doesn't apply to me, I don't see this as being a deal breaker as the construction on the Presidio is solid in virtually every area. I'm a notorious phone dropper, and because of its solid fabrication and 10 foot drop test assurance and its lifetime warranty, I'm not concerned with my new iPhone 7 plus being damaged. The beauty is that it's super solid and not thick and cumbersome like many of the 'impact proof' cases that are out there. It's surprisingly thin, light and shows off the phone's contours. Think of an Otterbox, but with fashion sense. Nuff said.Because I'm super picky when it comes to these plastic contraptions, I did a ton of research around the best rated iPhone 7 Plus cases. What I found was that the Speck Presidio landed at the top of almost every website's list, which is why I decided to take a chance and go with it as I've not been particularly impressed with the Speck line in the past. Because of their success with the candy shell line, Speck made a bold and brave decision in revamping their flagship case by making it thinner, with a matte finish. Personally, I applaud the decision and am quite happy with the Presidio line. I have no doubt that it will sell like crazy and continue to develop with more colour schemes and designs. Well done Speck. You've made me a fan as this is my new daily driver.Btw, I love the new colour schemes and highly recommend getting the same colour as your phone as the matte really has a slick effect.

Good Case
Great case, fits like a glove and offers great protection and grip. Only bad thing that I can say is it's hella expensive. I think $40 is a bit steep for this kind of case in my opinion. Aside from that good product.
