A good price
Well its a cheap syn oil, like anyone else looking at using this product you most likely have questions using an unfamiliar name brand oil in your vehicle... well same goes here but at this price I'm going to have to give it a try, so far so good but instead of going all out I am mixing a 50/50 blend of a well known brand of dino oil with this sinopec oil giving me my own synthetic blend, after running it 15000 miles in my tractor trailer I will dump it and get a oil test done and see what the end results are, if possible I will share my results.

Great stuff
Well it seems good, only time will tell, I don't do oil analysis. Appears to be like Rotella, good solid oil. Quieted down the engine I put it in which had old oil in it.

Plain white bucket with no labeling/marking of any kind....
I got a white 5 gallon bucket with no markings, labels or anything,no part numbers, zero, nada. WTF?Sending it back because I have no idea what it is and I will not be putting an unknown substance in my truck.

Not synthetic, just dino oil
Well congrats on the marketing job. It's not really synthetic, but is does meet the specs for the dino oil it would otherwise be marketed as. May post the Blackstone oil analysis once it's been ran the full 3k miles

Inexpensive quality SYNTHETIC!
Why wouldn't you buy this? Works great in my 7.3 diesel with over 430,000 Miles! The built in spout on the lid of bucket makes it easy to pour out liquid (I pour it into a 1 gallon jug to make it easier to pour into engine fill) I will be buying this for the life of this truck.

continuous operation: UPDATE PACKAGING
I have driven four 20 hour trips some 5000 miles towing 10,000lbs with my 1995 dodge Cummins. The oil appears to be slippery and not as "sooty" as other oils- I don't know if it's the filter- or the oil. I'll buy again when available in 5 gallon bucket. -although not a full 5 gallon package. The large bucket is convienent (over the previous jug sizes) for recycling as well as purchase size. I have not submitted sample for chemical evaluation after 6000 miles (yet).UPDATE July 18 After changing the oil in my 5.9l Cummins, I left the remaining oil in the original package in the bed of the truck. The packaging is POOR and allowed water from rain to get into the remaining oil, which became emulsified and un-usable. My suggestion is to not rely on this packaging after the product is received.

This is really good oil
I couldn't believe the price of this for synthetic oil. My first reaction was that it couldn't be very good. So I took the time to vet it to see if I could use it. I have a diesel pusher 380HP and spent my life working on and maintaining heavy industrial engines and knew how to check on this oil. I didn't have to look far as Sinopec is a Chinese oil company and the largest oil company in the world. The specs on this confirmed by Cummins as an approved oil for my diesel. If Cummins recognizes this as a preferred oil in their engines then I'm on board.

It's slippery, it's synthetic, it's oil!
A full synthetic for this price?!? Insane! I'll take it!Our 2006 Silverado 2500HD was noticeably quieter after we switched to this synthetic, may be completely unrelated to the quality of the lubricant as this was our first oil change after buying this truck used. This may have been the first synthetic oil service for this truck for all we know.Sinopec is a Chinese company if you were wondering. I didn't read any indication online that their manufacturing process was deficient in any way.
