Fizik designed the Cyrano R3 Bull Handlebar to work with its Spine Concept system and meet the needs of riders who aren't very flexible. Nearly identical to the R1 Bull, the R3 uses a more economical aluminum instead of unidirectional carbon fiber. Reach and drop measurements look like other handlebars, but the drop is what makes the R3 Bull work for inflexible riders. The drops are angled from the brake hood clamp area toward the back at about a 45-degree angle. This lets you use all the drops, whether you're in full-sprint mode or just getting low to dodge the wind.

A little deeper
The cool feature of this bar is it has a little deeper drop then most other compact bars. So if you have large hands or ride a endurance bike with a tall head tube you can get just a little bit more aero.

sadly being a rather big unit [54cm across the shoulders] its difficult to find wide enough bars on the market, lucky for me these came along just in time. nicely made, light and a good reach without having to change my stem

Just Right Reach Length
Purchased a wonderful co-motion bicycle, being 5' 7" with perhaps a little less reach than average, the hoods always seemed too far of a reach putting too much strain on my shoulders. First, I thought the stem was too long, upon further research it was determined the handlebars were responsible for the overextended reach. I put them on and immediately they were much more comfortable and it was confirmed after even just a short ride that these were the solution. No longer an issue with pain that would develop on my palm causing numbness and discomfort due to extra weight on my hands because of over reaching. So far they seem to be excellent and provide much improved comfort!!
