Although the skull and bones separate you can make the as spaced as you want to and the item is big but at least the person in front of you does not have to squint to see your pins, its nice and a good size for the price tag I have searched high and low and I have a very discriminating taste when it comes to skull & cross bones patches pins etc, and yes they meet my standards and even exceed them as well as I have said I have a very discriminating taste these pins aren't the run of the mill cheap junk but very well made and feel they are made to last real pewter not flimsy pins, they look and feel nice a must for any steam pirate rock and roll person and one who loves piracy and death on the high seas kinda stuff Arrr ya matey or is like me just a guy who wears a work shirt and some nice pins on it while fixing and repairing cars lawn mowers etc highly recommended to finish a hat jacket or the look you are going for you can not go wrong with these babies no matter what your into or do.

I love a fun pin for my computer backpack. It replaced a pirate flag that broke off a few months ago and I love it. The 2 separate pieces make it a little less snag-able and more versatile. Granted, I'll be keeping the skull and crossbones together, but I wouldn't have to.

This looks like a single pin but is actually two separate pieces, but that’s possibly an advantage. Good look, nice size and design.

It fit for what I needed

The skull and cross bones are two separate pins which makes it difficult to use. The skull swings and is difficult to be oriented correctly. This should be advised in the description.

Stupidly I did not read the smallprint, like others who ordered this. The title clearly refers to a single pin "Skull& Bones Lapel Pin" and that was good enough for me.As with others I am somewhat dumbfounded that 2 separate pins came, a skull one and a bones one, (each with a different pin and clasp). Whoever created this needs a good hard slap. Why they would think snapping something in half makes it a better product is beyond me. It clearly is now an inferior product (or rather 2 inferior products).Since I am a victim of my own apathy at not reading the full smallprint description I give it a higher-than-I-would-like 3 stars.
