Good for big noses, just ahead of the Bucky 40
I've tried a lot of sleep masks. This one isn't perfect, but you can do a whole lot worse. I also have the Bucky 40 Blinks, a Walgreens 'Comfort Sleep Mask', and a cheapo from Wal-Mart I use when I can't find the others.Light-blocking:Most sleep masks I've tried have the same two problems. They ride too high on my face and there's light leakage around the base of my ample nose. The key feature is a large nose cutout. The best here is the Walgreens mask with no leakage, but try it on in the store because the quality control is variable. With this Dream mask, the cutout is slightly too small, so there's a bit of light. The Bucky mask cutout is slightly smaller again, with slightly more leakage. The WM mask is hopeless; you might as well drape a T-shirt over your face.Comfort:The Bucky and the Walgreens win here. The Bucky is soft foam with a cloth liner, a thin single band, and minimal stitching. The eye molds don't put pressure on your eyes. Sleeping on your side is comfortable. The mask moves very little at night. The Walgreens mask is about the same less the liner. This Escape comes in third. It has a lot more padding and the eye molds are further away. Your eyelashes don't even rub when you open your eyes. Unfortunately, the band is thicker, as is the padding around the side. You notice it when you sleep on your side. It's easier to dislodge the mask. Also, the band is not very stretchy and is almost too short for my head. The WM mask is light and unobtrusive, but puts pressure on my nose, moves around, isn't adjustable, and I can feel it sitting on my eyes.Durability:Build quality appears to favor the Escape by quite a lot. The Bucky is fine until you wash it; then the liner and the foam separate. You can fix it if you're handy with a sewing machine, but it's still leagues below the quality and variety of materials in the Escape. Likewise for the Walgreens mask, which will separate from the outer blue cloth. I haven't washed my Escape yet. We'll see if it lasts as good as it looks. In sum: If you want the highest quality, and particularly if you're a back sleeper, this is best mask going. Try the Bucky or the Walgreens if you favor your side, and invest in a travel sewing kit.

Best I've found so far for the price, but not without some minor flaws/consistency
I can't help but wonder if this product has changed since I first bought it 3.5 years ago. This seems to be much more stiff than the one that it is replacing, and the "navy blue" color on outside is lighter. This still is the best sleep mask that I've found though, and the price fits my budget. The way the velcro strap is made, the hooks (prickly side) do not come into contact with the sheets/pillowcase at any adjustment to the length, so it does not ruin your sheets. It does have rather deep eye cutouts, so my long eyelashes do not rub against the mask. Because it is stiffer, has more padding and has eye cutouts, there is not pressure on my eyes with the mask on. It's definitely the best one that I've been able to find that suits my needs. I sleep usually on my back, but sometimes on my side/belly (never face in the pillow though).Cons: As I mentioned, this mask seems different than the one that I originally bought, but I can't tell if it is just because of normal wear and tear and I just don't remember the mask being as stiff as it is. Some of the threading eventually comes loose (wear and tear) and can tickle my face. I just have to cut the loose thread from time to time, but it can be annoying when I've already gotten settled into bed and need to go find scissors. Probably the biggest annoyance is that the strap is the first thing to wear out, specifically the velcro part. By the end, it was not working at all, and I had to tape the strap together to keep it somewhat tight on my face. I wish the strap was a bit longer, I have it as long as I can make it, and it is still a bit too tight for me, but still manageable.3 stars because I feel like the mask is a bit smaller than the first one I got (I recently replaced my original). There seem to be some differences between my old one and new one.

After using this eye mask for a few days I can say I'm disappointed. I had high hopes this would help keep the light out of my eyes when I slept. But what I found instead is that it moves around way too much. I'll wake up in the middle of the night multiple times because the mask is resting on my eyes and hurts (there are gaps in the mask if you wear it properly so that your eyes have no pressure on them). Or I'll wake and the mask is resting on my forehead. Maybe I just have pillows which are a little firm or I moved around a bit those nights. Regardless, the mask will not stay on my face. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm not rating it a 1 or 2 because it is possible it is my pillows or me that causes the mask to move during the night.Aside from that the band doesn't constrict your head, although it will give you a band line in your hair in the morning and if you don't shower in the morning right away it'll stay with you as a reminder. The material is soft and feels nice when worn. That helps with wanting to wear it. Also, when it is worn properly unless I cross my eyes and look at the tip of my nose I can't see any light (this is at night in a bedroom with a street light outside the window by 25 - 30 meters as well as a charging phone, smart watch, and sometimes computer).All-in-all if you have softer pillows and don't move around this would be a great mask. But if you're like me avoid eye masks all together.

Slightly overpriced
I don't know what to say really. On one hand it's a pretty decent mask, on the other it is pretty overpriced. It's comfortable enough, and blocks most of the light. A tiny bit of light does get in for me, around the nose but it's not significant enough to disturb me and I can shuffle the mask around to solve the issue. No light gets through the material though, it is very effective in this regard. It's not uncomfortable to wear, but it's not particularly comfortable either. It does give your eyelashes a nice bit of space, so you can fully open your eyes with the mask on; I like this. The strap sometimes rubs on the back of my ears, so some adjustment is needed until you can find a comfortable fit.My main issue is with the build quality, for nearly 20 quid I'd expect more. I'm worried about over stretching and breaking the strap and I've yet to see how the stitching holds up. The "carry case" that was sent with it was pretty useless as you have to fold the mask to use it, I'd be worried about repetitively bending this thing. I'm yet to test the ear buds because I have no need for them.So in my opinion it's a decent mask, but the price point is a bit high. Around Β£10 would be a more reasonable price.EDIT - 8/82017I revisited this product because I was considering a replacement and I noticed that I had left this review. I thought I'd quickly give my updated thoughts on the product.Well I've used it pretty much every night for the last two years, and it hasn't let me down. The only reason I'm looking to replace it is because it is starting to get a bit worn and dirty, this is understandable after using if every night for two years. The strap never broke, it is starting to get worn and bobbly, but it still holds up.

Look elsewhere...
This mask doesn't keep all the light out as there's definite light seepage entering from the bottom of the mask. I find this wholly distracting to my sleep. Furthermore the ear plugs they provide are flimsy foam ones that are determined to leap out of your ears throughout the night. The one good thing I'd say about the mask is that the "eye sockets" within the mask provide suitable space for your eye lashes.Overall, I'd look elsewhere.

Comfortable, durable and best that I tried
Best mask that I have bought and I've tried a few. Some light still gets in around the nose. Very comfortable and durable product.

Great quality product but not suitable for me-I sleep on ...
Great quality product but not suitable for me-I sleep on my side and it's an awkward bulky fit if you do! Unfortunately you can't return this item so be careful if you sleep on your side-this mask probably isn't the one for you!

100% blackout
Best eye mask I've used. It blocks 100% of light out for me, even when sleeping during the day. Money well spent. Only downside is that the Velcro deteriorated once I washed it - easily sorted with a few staples.
