t works great, but only when the sun is directly hitting the solar panel. The product seems pretty good and I have heard it cut on and work a little bit but I have not seen it work in full because it has been very rainy. A tropical storm came through so for the last week which is the entire time I’ve had the pump we haven’t had enough sun for it to work properly. But the install was easy and I did get enough light on it to see that it does pump water it just wasn’t very strong yet but we did not have full sun yet. I am willing to come and upgrade this comment review when I get to see how it does in full sunlight.

Love this little water pump, I keep it in my glass bird bath and it hardly takes up any room leaving plenty of space for the birds to hop around in the water. Because it's by a fence, I mounted the solar panel on a 6 ft tomato stake to get the most day time sun. It even runs on a cloudy day, not as strong as with the sun but enough to keep the water moving.

These instructions were printed too tiny for me to read. It took awhile for it to get enough sunlight to work and was afraid it would not, but it finally did. I think it will do the job I need, will have to find more tubing for what I need.

Good little pump, use in a shallow birdbath. Needs direct sunlight to work, does work -though not powerfully - on a slightly cloudy day. Have put the birdbath over an inexpensive water heater pan to hold more water. Pump sits in pan, and used a short piece of aquarium tubing to pump up to the birdbath, drips back into the pan. Birds love the moving water. Does it's intended job with little care so far.
