San Francisco Bay New Variety Pack 80 count - Donut Shop, Hazelnut, Breakfast Blend and Espresso

Love this new assortment of flavors - I got the hazelnut for my husband because I usually hate flavored coffees, but this hazelnut actually smells good - and is real flavored - and still very hazelnut-y. My favorite in this assortment pack is the expresso, which is strong and dense, but no hint of the “burned” flavor that so many strong coffees seem to have.

These days it seems almost unconscionable to make coffee pods out of anything but compostable material. Granted they still aren't as eco friendly as not using pods, but if you're going to anyway...SFB just makes nice coffee.Had a batch a while ago that wasn't great, contacted the company and they bent over backwards (beyond and above) to rectify my purchase. Customer for life.Hazelnut isn't my favorite (I think it tastes rather artificial), but out of all their other flavors one not great one isn't bad!

We purchase this variety pack at least once a month. Everyone really enjoys the Espresso Roast flavor, however, the pods in this particular box are causing an issue with our coffee machine. We can't get an entire cup of coffee, about 2 cups is all that comes out of our machine. We have descaled and we have taken the machine apart and cleaned any grounds that were sucked up into the hoses. The machine works with all the other pods in this box now, just not the Espresso Roast. This is a real head scratcher. We have never had this issue with previous deliveries. I took those pods out of use. I gave this a 4 star rating for flavor only because they only put a few different really good flavor pods in a box. You wish you could buy a whole box of that flavor you really like, such as Hazelnut or Columbia, but they don't sell those items on their own.

Why? You're brewing through plastic - hot water+plastic=micro amounts of plastic in your drink. AND THE HARM TO THE PLANET is immeasurable! These brews are bio-degradable and compostable - even the bags they're packaged in are as well. Think of the millions of K-Cups and variants in our landfills and you'll easily see how these cups are way better.

We love the combo pack because it gives our coffee drinker options. I love the packaging, it is our small way of being able to recycle the pods and we go though a ton on them because I stock these at home and work. Our coffee drinkers like all the flavors, will keep buying these through Amazon because I have not seen these local in our stores in Idaho.

I'll update as I try each flavor. But here's the breakdown so far.Donut shop: something weird about it. It tastes like watered down coffee. My wife agrees with this statement.Breakfast blend: a little more coffee flavor than donut shop, but it doesn't blow my skirt up.Espresso roast: This is an excellent cup of joe. I would rate this second only next to the French Roast. It's not as strong is the French Roast, but is has a slightly different yet still pleasant aroma and flavor.Hazelnut Creme: This was not a good coffee. It left me with a bitter aftertaste and a strange flavor.

I used to have to buy the flavored coffee and then buy a variety pack of unflavored - not a huge problem, to be honest - but I like this combo a lot. And I still haven't found another brand that consistently delivers strong good flavor, and the fact that I'm not creating as much non decomposable waste is a big plus.

This used to be our favorite pods. However, recently the quality control has significantly declined. We had at least 3 broken pods in each package of k-cups. It’s sometimes difficult to notice and causes a huge mess if used in the machine. Very disappointed.
