I have 40 psi now i need to make it 70. will it do it? or it ll shot off when it is 50

This pump has a maximum pressure rating of 77 PSI so the pump can handle it but you will need to replace the pressure switch as it's currently set to shut off at 50 PSI. Please note: we do not recommend exceeding 75 PSI and we also recommend installing a pressure relief valve near the discharge rated to handle pump flow at 75 psi. Pump is connected to a 20 amp breaker on a dedicated 12 gauge line. The breaker keepa tripping. Do i need to get a replacement?

The spec says it runs 13.2A at 110V. That may be a nominal number. (Assuming you're using 110V since a 20A breaker). At start up it may be borderline near the 20A mark or just above it. All motors have that surge at start up. Mine is running on a 50A circuit 220V from the older larger pump requirements previously installed. No prob with that of course.

Final installation of this pump will be on 220v. I will need 110v temporarily on extension cord, how many amps does this pump pull on 110?

Run mine on 110, while I haven't measured current flow, it seems to pull close to 15 amps on start up and probably runs on 10 or 12. Hope this helps.

Where was this item manufactured at?

Not sure but ours was defective out of the box... Worked for one day and the turn around time to get it replaced was not manageable(not Amazon's fault). We had to get a different brand.

Works great, and a good value

Very quiet pump. Maintains 50psi no problem. Kicks on at 35psi. Motor has no exposed brushes to corrode, which is why I bought. I run my pumps on 220V. I cannot comment on its duty rating, as I only use for about 15min max for showers at my hunting camp. Took about 15sec to prime initially, but since then has been instant (this will depend on how well your foot valve is holding pressure, which is not pumps fault).Do NOT increase pressure above the standard 50psi, this will overload and overheat the electric motor and it WILL fail. If you require higher Pressure and/or flow, you should get a bigger pump.
