Delightful & Heartwarming
Art: ★★★★☆Story: ★★★★★Komi turns a corner in this volume. She begins to communicate. Caring for Manbagi's feelings outweighs her fears. I especially loved that Oda-sensei took multiple chapters to let the girls work out their feelings. He had just the right balance between comedy and drama. His art was at a pinnacle for this volume as well. Highly recommended.

Komi Finds Her Voice
Volume 17 of Komi Can't Communicate continues the story of Shoko Komi, a shy high school student, and her quest to make 100 friends. This volume continues the story of the second year culture festival and the play that the class chooses to put on. This volume includes chapters 224 to 234 of the story.Starting with the artwork, I found that this volume continues with the high quality artwork that is to be expected of this story so far. As is typical in this series, this volume offers the usual offering of expressive characters and detailed backgrounds. As mentioned above, the story that dominates this volume is about the second year high school culture festival. Komi and her friends work to put on a play for their school as part of their culture project. Notably, while this volume does contain some of the usual humorous moments as expected of this series, it also takes a serious turn as Manbagi realizes that both she and Komi have feelings for Tadano, a situation that Manbagi realizes cannot continue indefinitely. For the first time in this series, Komi finds her own voice in working out this issue with Manbagi. It is enjoyable that after seventeen volumes, Komi is showing much more confidence in dealing with others, though she still trips up occasionally.I enjoyed this volume and fans of this series so far will likely enjoy it as well.

Best Slice-of-life there is
I absolutely adore this manga, and the anime adaptation. It is so pure and wholesome and will leave you feeling happy and fulfilled. Even in this volume, which has some pretty heartfelt and ‘sadder’ scenes, Oda throws it out of the park with the touching storytelling and innocent humor.

One of the best volumes yet
This is one of the best volumes yet! The love story progresses a lot when compared to the former volumes, there’s also the return of tandano-kun-chan who we haven’t seen since volume 5! The volume also keeps the comedy of the other but some of the chapters are a lot more serious. Overall one of the best volumes and I’m excited to see how the story continues.

Komi talks!
This book is a turning point in the story of Komi: She becomes aware of how much she feels for both Manbagi and also for Tadano, and she becomes aware that Manbagi also has feelings for Tadano. Komi does not want to push Manbagi away, but at the same time she has to admit that she is jealous of Manbagi. Such great conflicting emotions mean that Komi both speaks and shouts - throughout the book, Komi does not use her notebook a single time. The story is wonderfully empathetic and captivating and a must read.

Excelente historia y creo que es el tomo donde Komi tiene mas dialogos de toda la serie.
