I got these in a medium for my tall skinny 9 year old (he wears a 10 slim when we can find it). I knew from the reviews that these run large, but geez, he'll be doing good to fit in them when he's 13 or 14. But I got a heck of a deal on them (they were a return, I think) - <$20. So I'll keep them and cross my fingers that they fir some day.

I love some of Columbia outdoor wear and quick drying material. I usually wear a girl's large being 5'2" and slim. I bought 2 sizes, X-large and large figuring one must fit. I had to return both when I tried them on so I immediate went online to look for medium and the price shot up from $11 and $14 to $28 and $32 in a few days. I wasn't even picky about color. Since I did not need it soon, I just check the prices and eventually it drop to $14 about 1 month later. They're hit at ankle high so a bit shorter than I would like but fit a slim female adult size 00 well. Good value and waiting for next price drop to get another.
