The Hobonichi Techo Cousin is A5, twice the size of the A6 Hobonichi Techo Planner. The book’s big, spacious pages and page-per-day format provide a place to generously fill an entire year’s worth of spur-of-the-moment thoughts. After years of testing, the graph paper has been set to 3.7 mm for optimal writing comfort. The graph paper design has also been printed in light colors so users can either customize it to their own layout or ignore it completely. The various calendars and pages are great not only for writing down your plans for the day, but for doodling, pasting event tickets, using as a normal notebook, and filling in pages with any whims that come to mind. The Cousin is very popular for its exclusive weekly calendars, and is easy to use, fun to write in, and great to have on hand. The cousin has some Japanese language.

Plannerista Finds PLANNER PEACE!!!!!
Lifelong plannerista. I have owned practically EVERY loose leaf insert that lives. Because I was still seeking "planner peace" I bought this item. I was VERY skeptical since bound items scared me (I customize everything!). I. LOVE. THIS. PLANNER!!!!! The A5 size is perfect. The layout is almost perfect (I just need more blank pages in the back!). The paper quality is superb. I added the leather colored tabs from Chris Wang and my setup is my DREAM planner. No more ring binders for me...this is easy to transport, too!!!! I am soooo happy I found this! Hope to see an English version in 2018!

Wonderful planner/organizer and fabulous paper
I am a list making enthusiast and I have recently found the Hobonichi reviews online and bullet journaling. This 2017 diary is the bomb! It has almost every combination of how to break down the year, by year, by month, by day. It is larger and in an A5 size which is the same size as most of my other journals. In addition to the size and date breakdowns, it is the paper that really distinguishes it. Even though the paper is super thin, pen marks don't bleed or feather on the page or through to the other. Amazing. I have used a fountain pen and a marker and no bleeding. The Amazon price is also lower than most on the internet and I have prime. This was the best present to myself for the holidays.

Eh...
I would not say that this is worth $60. If you are looking for a daily main planner that is functional do not use this one. It is extremely hard to use and not exactly the easiest thing to use when wanting to write down something really quick. But if you are looking for a nice journal, this is the perfect thing for you. It is easy to write and draw in and also a cute place to store your daily thoughts and findings. Overall, this product is okay, but I would not pay $60 again for this product.

Hobonichi
You cant go wrong with hobonichi!! If you have any issues, the brand always stands by their products. The paper is GOD quality. (Tomoe river) and can stand up to markers, watercollrs, colored pencils, fountain pens, gel pens, and anything else pretty much!!

Great Product!
OK, I returned this, but not because the product is inferior in any way. As a matter of fact, I loved them! However, I have become an Omni-Journaler (I bullet journal, art journal, etc. in one book) and decided that I can't live with pre-printed calendar pages anymore. But I LOVE Tomoe River paper!

Did I just spend $60 on a planner?
Heck yes and will be again. I regret all the time I spent mucking around trying to find a less expensive version

I love it!
I've tried most planners out there and I think I've found the perfect planner for me. I am able to use all of its sections to manage my finances, my work tasks, my daily tasks, and even use it as a journal. So far, it's fantastic!

The Best Planner for Type A.. or B.
The Hobonichi Techo is a wonderful planner for those of us who need to write everything down, and see it in multiple different ways, multiple different times. If you're not like me that will make no sense whatsoever, but if you are like me you'll definitely get it.The Hobonichi Techo is unique in the sense that it has 4 different sections. The first is a calendex, or the month with each day listed below it in an actual list format. Next is has a monthly view with plenty of room to write in the boxes as well as the sides. Third is a weekly section with the times laid out for each day and boxes for tasks to be done, and finally, the bulk of the planner, is the page you get for each day.The grid is small, but very easy to write in and read easily. If you like making boxes next to your tasks the grid makes that especially easy. One of the coolest things about this planner is that it's great for people who love the idea of bullet journaling but not the time it might take to set up or the dedication to keep it up. Because the dates are all laid out and spaced evenly, you just need to fill it in. The Hobonichi is incredibly easy to customize to how you like planning. If you just write lists and call it good, this will work. If you love stickers, this will work. If you're one to get creative, this will work. It honestly will work for anyone. While it is pricey, if you have yet to find planner peace and the idea intrigues you, I urge you to give this a shot.
