Is this dishwasher safe?

This is from the designer/creator of the BBQ Croc: Yes! Slight discoloration may occur on the aluminum, depending on dishwasher conditions (mineral content in the water, chemicals in the detergent or high heat from the dryer). It is possible to remove any discoloration without damaging the metal using natural products such as lemon juice, vinegar or cream of tartar. CROC ON!!!
