Campbell's Soup on the Go, Creamy Tomato Parmesan Bisque, 11.1 oz (Pack of 8)

I first ran across this while working on a TV show - it was on the craft service (snack) table. I had tried other flavors before, but this version was new to me--LOVED IT!Easily on-par with what you might find at a local bistro, at a fraction of the price. This flavor is top-notch,and truly takes just 1.5 minutes to make.The sip-cup is quite handy for a quick pick-me-up or lunch, or you can put the heated contents into a mug or bowl, and perhaps add in a grilled cheese sand made on any number of contact grills ( George Foreman, Wolfgang Puck's Pannini grill...) to truly make this a hearty meal, in a matter of minutes. (like, maybe 5-- thats MY kind of cooking!)For reasons unknown, this particular flavor can sometimes be hard to find, both in regular stores or at Amazon. Seems to sell out frequently. I like the auto-ship from Amazon, rather than buying single cans at the supermarket.It is also kind of a nice product to send along to college kids and seniors, as well - two groups NOT well known to always eat well. They would appreciate something like this, trust me. And, yup, it is available on motion picture and television shoot's, with some VERY picky eater's!This is truly a five star item, and one that I will never be without. Yum!

I'd like to start by saying I don't just hand out 1 Stars lightly. I ordered Cambell's Creamy Tomato Parmesan Bisque Soup because it seemed to have a lot of good reviews for it. However, when it arrived today, I followed the directions, took a sip, and it literally tasted like puke towards the back of my mouth as I swallowed it. :/ I kept drinking it, hoping it was just one of those things that tastes bad when you first try it. I've gone through almost the whole cup and it's no different. Ugh. And I don't just mean it tastes bad. I mean it literally tastes like I threw up a little in the back of my mouth, haha.Perhaps there's a simple way to make it taste better. In fact, the actual taste of it is not too horrible, although nothing special and similar to the plain tomato soups, it's only when it hits the back of my mouth/throat that I get that puke taste.Any flavoring advice would be appreciated because I just bought this whole pack and I know I'll be the only one in my family to drink it. :( Then perhaps I'll bump the starts up by one or two if it can at least be adjusted to be tolerable lol. I suppose I'm dumb for buying a pack of soup with a flavor this risky.

Campbells Creamy Tomato Parmesan soup at hand is very tasty and convenient! I notice when I have a stuffy head, or especially a sore throat, that it is really soothing. I swear it made my throat better, and I really FELT better after I sipped it down. The only thing I do not like is how SWEET this soup is, which I wasn't expecting. But, still, its good. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I found it a bit too sweet. But, you just zap it in the microwave for a couple minutes and you have some hot soup. And the metal container keeps it hot for a long time, which I really like, since I like my soup very hot. These would be especially nice to have as a snack on a cold night. Great for kids in dorms, too.

In general, I much prefer the old condensed can varieties to these new "at hand" versions, but this one is the exception. It is very tasty and the quick and easy preparation is nice when in a hurry. I found the classic Tomato variety very disappointing (lack of flavor compared to condensed can product), but this one has lots of flavor and is very satisfying. The other reviews here already cover it pretty well, but I wanted to add my 5 stars vote for this excellent soup. I have ordered several times now and the quality has been consistent and good.Two thumbs up for this tasty and quick soup. An excellent quick snack on a cold winters day.

I gave this four stars for taste. I like the fact that it's not too sweet and you can definitely taste the parmesan. It's a little thin for soup, but it's meant to be drinkable so....take that as you will.I think that for the money you pay, especially if you can use a coupon, it's totally worth it.Amazon shipped it on time and in great condition.No complaints.

I like to keep a few of these at my office for the days I don't have time to get a "real" lunch or I forget to bring something else. The Tomato Parmesan is too sweet in my opinion, but it's better than nothing. I will warn you...it's best to shake these before you heat them up. After you shake the container, you have to remove the metal top. This is tomato (red) soup - I have gotten a few splatter drops on my shirts twice now.

This is a must-have to keep in your office desks for those quick-grab lunches, snacks, or even breakfast on a cold morning. This particular flavor, the Creamy Tomato Parmesan Bisque, is high in sugar - be aware of that. Most of the flavors are lower in carbs and calories. This one is worth it, as long as you are aware!
