prAna Women's Bliss Capri

I am 5'5, 140 lbs, and usually wear a size 8. I ordered these pants in medium. When I ordered these pants, the rave reviews made me have high hopes that these would be my new favorite warm weather weekend pants. I was ready for some Bliss in my life. I had visions of myself romping barefoot in these beautiful pants through fields of wild flowers under a blue summer sky, with bunnies and small birds looking on approvingly. Alas, it was not to be. These pants are the perfect length, and they fit perfectly through the thighs. They are too tight in the butt, and with the thin material you need to wear a thong or risk scaring away your new furry friends with your horrid underwear lines. Also, only if you have an admirable beer gut to fill out the gargantuan waist will these pants stay up. I cannot bear to return these pants. I keep them buried in the darkest corner of my closet as a testament to my squashed dreams.

Most comfy pants ever. They dry fast and are great for hiking and travel. They hold up well climbing and are light enough that I can roll them up to cross a creek or tide pool. I love the old colors. I've had pairs of these for about 10 years. I do wish that Prana would bring these back and also offer the longer pant version that they used to make in black. The newer versions have a heavier material that is useful for outdoors activities, but I think the pockets in the newer versions let keys and such fall out easier. The drawstring without heavy elastic is great and I hate that they keep making drawstring pants into "drawstring" pants that are actually zipper jeans with an extra drawstring or binding elastic. These cute, colorful, versatile pants have a loyal following and are sooooo much better than the other drawstring models.

I like them and I think they will be great for next summer. They are nice and stretchy and are water resistant. The fabric is not super soft, as it's similar to Prana Halle pants, and the slit at the bottom is large and a little odd. However they don't have giant hips built into them like all the other capris I seem to find in my size (I am very very tall). Looking forward to wearing them all summer.

I bought these because I have 4 pair of Prana capris that I bought probably 10 years ago and they are still going strong. The fabric is strong, relatively wrinkle-free, and has enough body not to cling, but isn't too hot. This pair of pants seems to be made of the same fabric, but the cut is different and the drawstring is a cotton twill rather that of the garment material./ That doesn't sound like a problem, but it knots easily and is of a loose enough weave that it is already starting to wear.

The pockets are completely worthless! Everything falls out of them, and they also bow out. I'm thinking of having them stitched closed. Also, these pants are not breathable at all. They get sooo hot, and retain "odor" if you don't wash them after every use. On the plus side, I love the fit -they are perfect for a curvy figure. I am 5'8 and 165 and the Large fits perfectly. I will keep them for the fit alone, but I hope Prana will make some improvements!

For me, this ran smaller than I expected based on others' reviews. I have an older pair of Prana Capris in size small, and they're plenty big for me, so I ordered a small again. It turns out they aren't *quite* big enough, so I'll return them and get a medium, hoping that isn't too big. Other than the size, these seem fantastic -- travel-friendly fabric that will dry quickly, cute style, and a color that's uncommon and pretty. Crossing my fingers for the medium!

I bought these pants to wear to work and so far so good. When I washed them I didnt dry them because I wasnt sure what it would do to the material and the fit. I am larger on the bottom so it typically is hard to get a good fit that doesnt look bad, this actualy fits great. They are a little long for me but that is to be expected because I am 5'5" and capris normally fit that way on me.

I will start by saying that I still own my first well-loved pair of Prana bliss pants. After wanting them in black for many years I found them on Amazon and was so excited.Sadly they have changed the material, fit, and construction in this version. The material is thicker and warmer, the fit is tighter on the bum and thighs (even accounting for ordering a larger size).Perhaps the biggest problems with these pants are the side pockets which are absolutely worthless as everything falls from them, change drips out like candy from a piñata when you sit down and larger things fall even when just walking. I first wore these out camping and my cell phone fell out during a hike. If it had not been for other hikers behind us who found it I would have lost it in the woods.

Love these prana trousers, great fit, easy to wash and super comfy.
