Works great with JamUp
I have just received mine and I LOVED IT! It does what it was intended. I use it mostly for switching my presets in JamUp Pro.It is important to mention that there IS a lack of instructions from IK in order to know how to use the board (in my case, I had to look into youtube), but the Blueboard works just great. A -free- app from IK must be downloaded first, so the Blueboard can communicate with another apps through MIDI, this app must be launched first and recognize the pedal, and then you can open another app. First I was having some issues to communicate with the JamUp, I ended up closing both apps (JamUp and pedal app) and after that, all went well. The blueboard has two different modes that can be set in the pedal app:- PROGRAM CHANGE MODE, that can switch between your A/B/C/D presets (there is no need on programming something, as easy as "plug and play")- CONTROL CHANGE MODE, in this mode the buttons are completely programmable for control changes, like turn on/off specifically effects. This allows maximum flexibility, but you have to take your time to program each button to do what you want them to do.Bank switching is possible, just activate this option in the pedal app and the A or B button must be hold pressed like 2 sec and the bank is changed. You DO NOT feel like a "click" when pressing the buttons, so be sure you pressed it. It needs 4 AAA batteries (included). It's super light since it made out of plastic, but feels very stiff... however time will tell.Hope this helps!

It’s A Great Product
I use this almost every day! This is the best for what I use it for. It does everything and more. The greatest part is it is Bluetooth, no wires needed, except it has two ports for a volume or wa pedal that does need wires. It supports irig so if you have this is a great accessory to add to what you already have. The cost ain’t bad and you won’t go wrong !

Doesn't work with modern Mac's
This device is advertised to work with Mac, but appears to only work with previous OSX - not modern ones. I'm a pretty tech-savvy person and found no way to connect it with very limited information available online. You have to register the serial number online in order to download the Mac software. There is no option to release the serial number. If you want to transfer the serial number, it apparently requires you buy a $19.99 transfer credit.I was able to get the unit to function with my iPhone (to verify it worked) but I purchased it with the intention of using it on my Mac to control Mainstage.

Only Bluetooth MIDI pedal with expression pedal inputs
I use the Blueboard to control my Peavey Vypyr Pro amp via an iPad and a Yamaha MDBT-01 MIDI adapter. I wanted to be able to switch among four patches and control master volume with an expression pedal. The Blueboard gets the job done easily. I have used it several times now with the IOS Blueboard app, and it has worked flawlessly. It was very simple to set up in native mode. The IOS app lets you select the CC event to associate with each of the expression pedals, and emits consecutive MIDI program changes on the channel of your choosing for the 4 buttons. For my purposes, that was flexible enough. The new 1.2 firmware lets you bypass the IOS app if you want to, but the two direct MIDI modes are not as flexible, so you may find yourself forced to use another IOS app to translate note or cc events from the pedal into whatever you really want to send to your device. It would be helpful if the IOS app could connect and forward events to a wireless MIDI device, and if there was a way to make the button illumination momentary rather than latching in native mode. Even better if the button illumination could be controlled by a MIDI event as it can in the direct MIDI modes of operation.Four stars instead of five because tech support did not respond to my inquiry.Update: I heard back from tech support after several days. I have now used the Blueboard in gigs and practice indoors and outdoors. It still works great, battery life is very good, and I am using one of the direct MIDI modes with MidiFlow on IOS - a very flexible setup. I am also using an expression pedal to control the master volume on my amp with very satisfying results. Recommended.

Must have for musicians using ipad apps.
Fairly sturdy and great battery life. I use this in conjunction with the positive grid Bias FX Universal ipad app and it works great. I've used it with other apps as well with great results. The thing I love about this is that it is light weight, so mobility is great. I am mainly a singer in my band but from time to time I have to play rhythm or lead guitar and this pedal is easy to kick off to the side when finished. I'm still using the original batteries it came with and I've been using it every weekend since I bought it a couple months ago. I use it in program mode and the only gripe would be that in the CC mode the lights latch on even when you hit a different button.

Works well with iPad Air 2 but research the apps you want to use.
This pairs easily with my iPad Air 2 using the blueboard app. You should do your research though, because not every app is able to communicate with it. I was really hoping that it would communicate with the Korg Gadget app or Garageband but I can't get that to work. Of course all of the apps made by IK work fine (Sampletank, Groovemaker, Amplitube etc), but they're not that great for my needs, and others sometimes don't which was a little bit of a disappointment. I'm using it with an app called unrealBook and it works beautifully as a page turner and music start/stop controller. It also works with Stage Traxx. It's plastic but I think it will hold up OK onstage if you're careful, but might break with a 6 foot fall on a concrete floor.

Worked great initially, then BlueTooth failed; now waiting for replacement
I had no problem setting up the BlueBoard and the apps. It worked as I expected as a stompbox, controlling JamUp Pro on my iPad.However, after only a week or so, it would no longer connect to the BlueBoard apps my iPad, my iPhone, or my iMac. I couldn't see it in the list of BlueTooth devices on my iMac, so I guess the radio in the BlueBoard failed.Update: Got a replacement, which is working fine so far.Now I'm waiting for a replacement. I'll re-review based on what happens with the new one.
