Good price when used as a VGA or HDMI monitor but would not be as good for a TV
I already owned two very similarly-sized, similarly-equipped Vizio TVs that I bought maybe six years ago and used primarily as TVs in two bedrooms. A couple of years ago, I replaced these, so I re-purposed them as monitors for a desktop PC. This worked so well that when I wanted to do the same thing for another PC, I went shopping on-line. The key features for this purpose were the size and that they have a VGA port (fast disappearing in the marketplace but required for the display adapter in the PC). This item worked well for this purpose but the sound quality is very bad, granted that I am directly comparing it side-by-side with the similar Vizio which is a bit bigger vertically and therefore seems to have the speakers mounted in front. Additionally because I am using a pair of them, rather than switching the input using the remote, I am using the buttons on the side. On the Vizio, multiple presses of the input button cycles through all the inputs and you can stop on the one you want. On the Spectre, you have to click the input button once to start, then cycle up or down pressing the CH+ and Ch- buttons. This seems a little counter-intuitive from a user-interface design perspective as compared to most devices. These criticisms are pretty specific to my situation and not enough for me to feel dissatisfied. I have owned them for just six weeks so I cannot speak to their longevity. Other than this, they met my needs and were worth the money to me.

This is a great budget TV! But YOU have to set it up right!
I'm amazed I got a 1080p 24'' TV at ~$90; which has good picture quality after I set it up the way I liked. But I'll be honest and say that I was very unsatisfied when I turned on the TV for the first time and tried playing my PS4 on it. There was a lot of blue light and it hurt my eyes a bit, and the colors looked ugly. Unfortunately, none of the preset picture modes are even good; and they give a terrible impression on what the TV is actually capable of. But after some time messing with the settings, I finally made it have the picture quality that I had hoped for. What I did:1. Menu --> Picture ---> Picture Settings ---> Picture Mode: User2. Brightness: 55. Contrast: 47. Color: 70. Tint: +10. Sharpness: 15.3. Go back to Picture menu, and then set Screen Size to Full 100%.4. Set Color Temperature to Warm.5. Go to Advanced Picture Settings, and set Dynamic Contrast to On.The picture quality looks a lot better like this, and I encourage anyone who buys this TV to take the time to adjust the picture settings. The TV looks great with HD video games; I tested it out on The Forest, Worms W.M.D., Minecraft, and Gang Beasts. Anime and movies look great on it as well. Also, I connected headphones to the TV. I set up my sound settings like this: Sound Mode to Dynamic, AVL to On, Equalizer Settings to Pop mode. The sound quality is good overall with everything such as games, movies, and music; but that also depends on the headphones used too. I don't plan on using this TV without headphones. In the end, I needed a replacement TV after my 8 year old 24" 1080p TV stopped functioning. I didn't want to spend too much money, but I definitely wanted 1080p. And this TV delivered. Luckily, this TV also has the ports that I needed, such as a headphone jack and AV composite. There's only one HDMI port, but I can remedy that by getting a HDMI hub. Overall, this is a great budget TV. I hope the pictures I provided help. And thank you for taking the time to read this review. :)

Good for a bedroom, sound is alright
This item came very quickly. In 3 days, actually. The box had a small tear but was otherwise intact. The TV inside was undamaged. The base was easy to put together and holds well. The one thing I might say wasn't great is the sound. We've bought Spectre TV's before and while we get a lot of good use out of then the sound always felt less than spectacular. I had to turn it up pretty high to hear anything. I'll probably add a soundbar or something to redirect the sound forward rather than backward as it seems to. The picture is gorgeous and otherwise the TV is in fine working order. This is a really good TV for a smaller room, perhaps not as a main family room. Very good for the price but could be a bit better.4 out of 5.

Excellent Picture
As this is a bedroom tv we are quite impressed by the sharp picture quality, although the sound is a bit tinny which is to be expected in the much smaller speakers contained in a tv of this size. It’s fine for a bedroom application which was all we wanted. And it mounted on a wall-mount extension easily so can be adjusted for viewing in any part of the room.

No glitches, good OTA remote, logicall menus.
It works like it should. The menus are well designed. The firmware shows no glitches. The tuner pulls. For the price, there must be compromises. I'm not sensitive to them. 1080p on a 24" screen looks good. Perhaps it doesn't have the color gamut of a more expensive set. Perhaps the black level is a little high. The available inputs indicate this is a holdover design, made from leftover assemblies. It actually has an analog VGA port. but only one HDMI.The remote caters to full direct OTA channel selection, unlike the more modern web TVs.The complaint about inadequate audio is valid if you are planning to locate the set away from the viewer, say, across the room. It's fine to put on a coffee table. It may be a consideration for those who suffer extreme age related hearing impairment. The headphone output cannot drive my dad's Sennheiser phones up to the point where the yellow "compression" indicator flickers. This is a consideration only for those who have extreme hearing impairment.

Good for an inexpensive monitor
While this monitor comes with some nice functionality such as built-in TV tuner, the picture quality is very average when compared to an LG or Dell monitor which is noticeably different. You sacrifice pic quality over size and function.

Disapointed with this tv.
The sound volume did not work properly from the first usage. Had to send back to Sceptre for repair. Have not received the tv back yet.
