Sennheiser Professional Audio IE100 Pro Wired in Ear Earphones Without mic (Black)

Awesome pair of in ears....being a pro musician, naturally ill be sceptical about musical items but this has managed to satisfy my expectation.Overall sound quality is good & so is the fit...very comfortable without any kinda physical ear fatigue. Very balanced sound in terms of bass mid & treble frequencies.

I got this product as I was looking to have a upgrade from my previous Sennheiser cx275s which by the way I had absolutely loved from the very first day (great product, worth the money). But to my surprise the ie100 pro's didn't sound very superior to the cx275s given the fact that they are 4x times the price compared to these. Sound staging and sound clarity are great but nothing exceptional if you've previously been a CX series user then you already know (I've tired the cx275s and my assessment is based only on that). Those models in that price range are still the best ones, sadly they aren't being manufactured anymore except for some two models which I haven't tried. However where the ie100 pro's does shine is at noise cancellation, they are quiter. They do a better job at faithfully sending back the feedbacks of the instrument you're playing if you are a musician as I tried, or even if you want to hear you own voice on stage I believe for monitoring, infact they are IEM's afterall. If your looking for some wierd driver enchancer to make music sound great and magical forget these, you're better off with other brands and you'll get one for far lesser price. But if you've been a Sennheiser user for a long time and in love with the Sennheiser house sounding then probably you won't regret buying this (if you're looking for monitoring). If it's for music/movies you're going to hear sounds as they are, nothing enchanced nothing magical! Just as they were recorded. The better the recording the better the hearing at the other end. These IEMs does quite well what they were designed to do monitoring!!! Having said that I wonder how different will the higher pricing models be compared to these ones.

Bass is strong. Mids are lacking a tad bit. Highs are accurate. Which means overly compressed and loud tracks sound like trash and beautifully mixed songs sound beautiful.
