Naruko Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence

This is the third bottle I’ve purchased of this essence. The first two bottles were great. My skin looked glowing after application and the essence smelled like sake. So when I finished the second bottle, I wanted to replace it. I found it here on Amazon (had previously purchased directly from Naruko) and the price was reduced somewhat so I thought I’d really lucked out.Unfortunately that was not the case. When the bottle was opened it had an awful chemical smell. I hesitantly applied it.No glowing but it didn’t irritate. Gave it one more try. Same thing.Even at a reduced price it’s not cheap, so I’m out that money (could not be returned). I miss that wonderful essence I used before. Disappointed!

Helps my pimples and oily skin.

I own a few Chinese skincare products, but this is one product that the only English you will get is on the box, so don't throw it away if you want to know or remember the ingredients. The bottle itself is gorgeous. Thick, heavy, translucent with an embossed outline of a white flower on the side. Very pretty with very impressive results. What about what's inside the bottle?Naruko Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence is a bit a miracle after all. The liquid resembles water, but doesn't feel at all watery upon application. Infused with all the essences of a laundry list of herbs, plants, flowers, seeds-- in protein and extract form. It seems like nothing has been left out of this formula with a multitude of skin benefits. I'm usually not a fan of such a long list of ingredients, even if they are natural but in this case, I'll make an exception. Lucky for me, known irritants on my skin, like Thyme, Rosemary, peppermint, willow bark, and leaf extracts, are far enough down the list to be in negligible concentration with less chance of unpleasant effects.Had my skin retained the emollience of the immediate application, I would have given it 5 stars. I prefer hand patting fluids like this into the skin, over application with a cotton square that counteracts the entire purpose. My skin felt wonderful, smooth, moist, and even the skin texture was affected. But, it didn't last.Within minutes, only the softness of the skin remained with no visible evidence of any other results. If this works, the results will be evident over time and consistent use.I prefer to look at it as nothing more than a soothing toner of sorts that feeds the skin and provides a moist canvas for the next step in skincare and makeup. That way,the "essence" of this Essence will be trapped against the skin to work its magic with natural ingredients. It won't be of much noticeable effect all by itself.

I am exited to be using this essence by Nakuro. The creator, NiuEr is one of the most truly passionate beauty connoisseurs that I have learned about. "Naruko was started by Taiwanese Beauty King Niuer back in 2008 and very quickly established itself as a top beauty and skincare brand in Asia. Naruko's principles in product development are centered on thorough lab research combined with the sourcing of the best quality raw ingredients". Highly thoughtful formulations! This essence, which can be patted in, or used with a cotton round, is very gentle to my dry 40+ skin. It pats in nicely. My skin feels supple and lightly hydrated. I always just use my bare hands to apply- I pat on, press in gently. No discernable scent, just clear and clean feeling. Excellent for prepping my skin for next step in skin care (serum, moisturizer). That's just to start, I imagine over time (and this gorgeous bottle will last a long while) that my skin will only get better. I really appreciate the transparency of information that this company has for its products. No mystery as to what is in it, how to use, or what to expect. If you take a closer look, it consists of an impressive amount of skin nourishing extracts. Primarily all of them (save for a few preservatives, carrier ingredients, etc) are part of a botanical formula referred to as, "Actuat E 60". All products in this line have Actuat E60, which is Naruko's proprietary blend of 60 different Western and Eastern botanical ingredients.So two key "ingredients" to focus on, the high concentration (94.9%) of rice lees extract (which is enriched with amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that moisturizes skin and strengthen's the defense system of the skin) and the Actuat E60 formula. Naruko Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence comes in a nice glass bottle. Naruko is a well know brand in Taiwan. The list of the ingredients contained in this essence is impressive. It is a clear liquid that is easy to apply and feels a little tacky at first until it dries. It has a tightening effect and leaves my skin smooth with an healthy glow.
