Goodcook Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Grill Press, 6 Inch

I looked a long time. This was the only press that I could find that was riveted (not screwed) together with no wood or plastic anywhere; and it has a handle that won't get too hot. It is built like the old fashioned irons where....... beautiful. Season it just like you would the rest of you cast iron cookware to keep it from rusting and it will stay relevant forever. After buying one and seeing the quality, I immediately purchase another one.

Purchased this to use as a press for my cast iron skillet. Never used item, sat it on top of my oven, the first time I cooked next to it, steam caused the grills to rust, and rust on my oven! Never even used the item!!! I own several cast iron skillets and this item is CHEAP!It was a waste of my money, threw it away after seeing it had rusted on my stovetop!

Bigger than I thought and is great for the steak orders I make where I work!!!

Rust easily

I started using a grill press for my steaks and wish I had tried it sooner. It creates beautiful grill marks on both sides. Simply place the grill press on the grill, close the cover, preheat the grill to 450 degrees, then put your steak on and press down with the grill press. In less than 5 minutes, you get a perfect, juicy thick steak with a crusty exterior.

son de una calidad buena, pero no pesan tanto como hubiera querido, calvez fue error mío no fijarme en la descripción, si quieras una muy buena y pesada elige Lodge press, una de esa le compre a mi mama y me encanto, ( el precio es casi el doble pero vale la pena )
