Great unit that performs as described on mains and on leisure battery. I have tested this with a wireless thermometer chilling pop bottles down to -18 C though quicker and more efficient to start with frozen product. Current draw at 12 v is about 4.5 amps on startup but barely an amp an hour once the target temperature is reached. I ran mine for a week on 100 amp leisure battery and solar panel no problem. Good capacity in freezer box and chiller compartment (not removable) is about 5 degrees higher than the freezer. Only irritation is it’s about an inch short of being able to hold a full size (2.5 l ) pop bottle upright without angling it. Wire basket well made and very convenient. You don’t get the fancy blue tooth operations but with A fifty quid discount voucher this was excellent value. I bought a pair of wireless Bluetooth thermometers for about 12 quid just for convenience to monitor the temperature but it definitely works well and keeps the temp steady as it’s own thermostat says. It is very big and quite heavy as these freezers are - just check your boot capacity. Also doesn’t have wheels so if you have a little festival trolley that might save your back or the handles are very solid if you have a friend to help.

Really like this cool/freezer 45l box.Love the reversable lid.Cools quicklyFreezer takes a little longer to get to the recommended -18c for frozen food so suggest if using for that purpose that you get it ready before you take a journey.Left off power over for 14 hrs and it still registered -8c so would be very happy to use as a freezer too.The only minus would be the fixed handles which would be an issue if you have shortage of pace as it needs inch gap to allow ventilation whilst running but not required if turned off.All in all really pleased at the price.Next purchase will be a poeer bank to run if off.It says that power consumption on average is 55watts but ive yet to test that

Easy to use with a battery power bank

Bought this to use in our vw campervan. Great fridge which cools down really fast. It's extremely quiet. Got a £60 off so even better. Great fridge for the price. Definitely recommend and that comes from my husband who is a refrigeration engineer!

Excellent bit of kit easy to use beers always cold fits in the t5 best addition to the van yet get one you won't be disappointed

Great little fridge for the back of the van. Saved me loads of money taking my own food to work.This is way better than the alpicool one I used to have, which packed in after a couple of months

Only had it a day and ran it off mains power only so far ! but dropped down to -10 fast ! Quite in my opinion I can't even hear it without trying . Instructions are crystal clear so far would highly recommend .
