the best set of speaker i have ever gotten i would buy more but they take up too much space and they are real hard to pick up

The sound quality is just OK. Not great. Not horrible. Just OK. Honestly, I would probably like this unit better if it didn't smell so badly. YES, I said SMELL. The unit smells like rotten fish and my truck stinks because of it. I researched why the unit stinks so badly and apparently it is from the glue that is used to put the felt covering on. I was hoping that after the few months have passed since I got it that the smell would've gone away by now, or at least lessened...not a chance.

I've noticed some fair to poor reviews. These are incredible for the $. They do not provide window shattering bass, but great mid and tweet... the bass is OK. This is the second unit I have purchased for a Kenworth road tractor. On one unit I replaced one speaker with a JBL 1000 watt sub-woofer, driving with a Sony 1200 watt amp. Sounds really good. Heck, hard to buy a good twin 12 inch speaker box for $60!

Stopped working after 3 months. The right side was completely shot but the left side still worked. the only problem is that the sub will reach a max volume before sending my amp into protection mode. I tested my amp with one of my friends subs and had no problem getting that to work, so the problem has to be with the sub. I want to contact the dealer, but the only way given on the warranty card is by phone, and they are open during the hours that I am in school and in work. would love to get it fixed but i might just have to go out and buy a new sub. It was great while it lasted but i think i got what i payed for.

Well made, good quality product. Has performed well so far. Glad I bought it!I would definitely buy this product again!

The sound is not that great, you get what you pay for. Make sure you get an amp that delivers clean power.

Works great has good sounds nice bass great low end sound with an even light end from the tweets !!!!!!!!!!!!

Based on my recent experience, Pyramid products are very poorly made. My son had purchased a Pyramid car stereo to compliment these speakers. The stereo itself never did work and had to be returned right away. We purchased a Kenwood stereo to replace it and within less than 3 months, the Pyramid speaker system blew out. Unfortunately it worked more than 30 days before it blew because now I am stuck with $60 worth of garbage that will need to be replaced with a better product from another manufacturer. Amazon will not stand behind it, even with their written 1-yr warranty and told me to contact the manufacturer. Good luck with that! I've been trying to work with Pyramid for several weeks now, to no resolve. Bottom line, Pyramid products are junk and Pyramid does not stand behind their craftsmanship (probably because they know that they are selling lousy products). I would NOT RECOMMEND this product, nor any other Pyramid product, to anyone!
