The first case lasted a little over one year, and I ordered another when a corner finally cracked. I put my S5 Active through the ringer, no doubt I have taken advantage of its shockproof, dustproof, and water resistant capabilities. This case serves to further protect my phone and I prefer having a grippy surface versus a slicker one.In summary: Best bang for the buck for protecting a phone in hazardous environments, or just carrying in your pocket.

Sliding the phone into the holster takes effort. That is my only issue aside from the lack of confidence in the utility of the kickstand. The holster seems to be more durable than most of the other ones that I have had. No complaints about the protective case, but who would expect anything different for a protective case for a durable phone?

The beltclip prop built in is However of no use as phone screen will not fit in case with screen out.Also the slide out prop on the phone case will not remain closed had to lock it down with glue.

Kickstand to hold the phone in the upright position is too short and will not even hold itself in the upright position, much less your phone.

active case does what it is supposed to do, protect.

It does fit your phone, but the home button on the right does not fit the case. I, strongly, do not recommend this case

This holster replaced one that only lasted a week. The plastic appears to be softer, so less chance of breaking from dropping it.
