Delicious Cheese -- ridiculous price!
Tiger Cheese has been my favorite for many years. It's a processed cheese, but it's well blended and very smooth. Unfortunately, the price of this cheese has more than DOUBLED since I received my last order two months ago. In November I paid $16.99 for an entire POUND of the cheese. Now, they are charging $38.96 for NINE OUNCES. This is almost $70.00 a pound. While we all understand that we're in an inflationary spiral (disguised by down-sizing he product amounts), this is insane pricing. You can purchase a pound of Maytag Blue Cheese or a pound of Huntsman for less than $20.00. If you can find Tiger Cheese for a reasonable price and if you like blended cheeses, it's well worth trying. But not at $70.00 a pound.

Excellent Cheesse that I remember when it was sold for $1 a wheel at the Dollar Store
UPDATE: $14.99 shipping is Price Gouging. This is the best processed cheese ever but NOT at $4-$6 for the 4.5 oz. I wish someone can sell it at $1-$2 a wheel. I'll buy a ton. I can eat it every day.

Tastes okay. Soft gruyere is not my preference. It's too soft. I'll try something from the market next time. Won't order this again.

Wonderful cheese but........
Wonderful cheese but........Ordered the cheese and when I got it the expiration date was one month out and even immediately, it had a bad flavor. I love the cheese but won't order again from this site. I emailed them with the problem but they never answered. Guess the company doesn't care.

What used to be a "firm texture" 1 ounce wedge ...
What used to be a "firm texture" 1 ounce wedge of tasty process Gruyere Cheese now seems to be a much reduced process Gruyere Cheese SPREAD. It is tasty but disappointing to those of us used to the earlier, original type of Tiger Brand cheese wedges. It is still enjoyable but is a far cry from the chese wedges of just a few years ago.

The good prices are back
UPDATE 5/15/14These are amaze balls. Too bad they're out of stuck. The cost per wheels comes out to be around 5 bucks including shipping which is a really good price for a product that's extinct. I have searched every vendor in the world for this product at this price. The price of this same cheese by same vendor was 40 bucks couple of days back which was completely ridiculous. I am waiting for my cheese but I am leaving 5 stars until i update them after tasting them after 4 years

price gouging vs oversight
$28 to $45 price increase for 6 gruyere cheese wheels in just a few weeks!!!This vendor nearly doubled the price for this product over the last few weeks. The same vendor sells single wheels of the same cheese for 5.99.The math doesn't work!Thats almost $10 less to buy six wheels individually rather than a bulk pack of six ?!?!I assume this is a pricing error on the vendor's part.It would otherwise be a somewhat unethical manuever, even for supply and demand pricing.
