I really like this paste!
The color is not attractive, for sure :) But... The taste is fantastic especially for those who like spices. It is sweet and spicy. I use it only for the health purpose as a supplement to my diet - one tea spoon a day. I read about this product in wikipedia and strongly recommend without doubts.

Dabur Chyawanprash in the states!!
I haven't had this since I was a child, definitely brings back some memories. It's regular, run-of-the-mill, tried-and-tested, true-blue, dabur chyawanprash. Google it if you want to know how it can help you. If you know what this product is and aren't sure about buying it online...do it! Had NO problems with Amazon's delivery, packing, etc. as usual.

Tastes terrible
Bought this after seeing the health benefits on Dr. Oz, but it tastes so bad, I cannot force it down to get those benefits.

All fine, except for being very close to the expiration date
Hi,it arrived quickly to my address. The only thing that I didn't like is that they sent me a product very close to the expiration date which it is in a couple of months and it was manufactured in 2010.Thank you

Prompt delivery and product was as expected
The product arrived one time, actually it arrived earlier than expected. It was exactly what I wanted. It's been just a week since I have started taking it so cannot comment on the effectiveness of the product as of now.

Dabur Chyawanprash is like a Miracle in a jar!
I usually don't respond quickly--or at all--to most supplements or medicine, unless having an allergic reaction, so I was not expecting miracles when I first tried Dabur Chyawanprash; but what happened has been amazing! Many medical conditions affecting all bodily systems leave me quite lifeless, so I've spent most of the time in my chair, especially in the past few years. However, June 1, 2012, I began taking Chyawanprash in hopes it would help allergic asthma; and the next day I felt energetic enough to walk a mile in our neighborhood. As long as I keep up the Chyawanprash I have energy. (I've forgotten it three different days since, and have had the same reaction--the next day back in my chair lifeless, so I know I definitely see a cause and an effect.)Now, I start my day with Dabur Chyawanprash and count this as one of my blessings for sure. I hope they never change the recipe or stop making this herbal paste. I am now walking regularly (up to a few miles a day) and doing regular light household chores, barring illness. Medical conditions haven't disappeared, so it's not magic, but I'm grateful for the miraculous energy it's given me.WARNING: When you try it the first time, don't let the look of it deter you. With the look of dark goop, it reminds me of the sludge I've cleaned from bathroom pipes! Luckily, the flavor is pleasant; reminds me of many Indian spices, berries, and clove, with a definite bite. (I do love Indian food.)BTW: I purchased my first jar from Amazon Prime Dabur Chyawanprash 17.65 Oz Since then my husband has purchased several jars from an Indian grocery store in our city at a comparable price. We're going to look into getting larger quantities.

Plastic, Metallic taste
I have ordered this product several times before, and like it. However, this time, it came in different packaging; and as soon as I opened it, I got a plastic/metallic smell - not good. I thought maybe it was just off-gassing from the seal, but it actually permeated the entire contents, so that they tasted of plastic and/or metal. It was inedible, and I am concerned about this product's safety.
