L O V E these pants
I frickin love these pants. Best I have had for at least 15 years, and I'll tell you why. Real talk here: Most pants on me are either way too baggy in the butt or they are pushing my balls up into my neck whenever I crouch down. But these Prana pants, because they have some stretchiness to the fabric and also have a special crotch panel, allow me a full range of motion with absolutely perfect comfort and yet they fit perfectly and look great. They are nice enough looking that I wear them to my office job with a tucked in collared shirt, and yet I could probably go out and do some bouldering at lunch. If I was a boulderer. Mostly I'm a pokemon go-er. But I digress. I liked these so much that I bought 2 more and I think I'll buy an additional 2 or 3 in more colors so I won't be without them if they ever get discontinued. Yeah I like them that much. Oh I should also mention that the Mud color is not as dark as it appears in the picture, it is more of a light gray earth tone (which I am very happy with). I also have the charcoal and I like that color very much too, although in the thigh it started to fade a little bit fairly quickly (after 2 months or so) but I don't really mind.

Excellent denim alternative
I bought these as something to wear for casual situations as an alternative to blue jeans. They are excellent. They have a 2% stretch material in them 98% cotton. Which makes for just enough give to have them fit nicely when moving around. I think these will end up being used for outdoor hiking and general all around use. They are not 'work' pants in the sense they are not that heavy canvas feel, but those feel uncomfortable anyway. Get the Deluth pants if you want heavy work pants.Sizing: I am 32 in most clothing. Levis 32or33 depending on cut. These I had bought in a 32 and had to return them for the 33.Length. They run long. I got the 32 length and these fit more like a 33 to 34 length. I may have to fold them and i am 6' tall.Overall I love the Prana brand and what they stand for... I really hope in the recent acquisition by Columbia last week they don't cut costs in manufacturing.

Nice job Prana
Great pair of pants, super deep pockets, very comfortable to wear all day. Important to note that size 31x30 has slightly wider legs than the 30x30 (this was a good thing -- I hardly noticed until I tried both on a couple times and felt the 30x30 pair was a bit tighter in the lower legs). They fit really well and look nice. The do have a little bit of stretch to them. The Pewter color is more like a dark forest green. Also, these tend to wrinkle a lot in the washer/dryer due to the fabric used. I found this was easy to deal with by doing two things: 1) washing them inside out, on COLD water setting and 2) using a medium spin cycle speed if your washer supports it. A high spin speed seemed to cause wrinkles to really set in and were difficult to get out until the next wash.

Prana clothes are the best. I've been a devotee of patagonia for years ...
wearing them today at work! Prana clothes are the best. I've been a devotee of patagonia for years and i definitely still love that brand for many reasons beyond their clothes. However, awhile ago I noticed I'd been through several pairs of patagonia, mtn hardware, and rei brand pants and I was still rocking this really old pair of prana pants that were the only thing I'd ever purchased from them. When I say "I'd been through them", I literally mean I'd walked and ridden my bike enough miles to deteriorate the crotches, worn through the pockets from sitting on my wallet, etc... that old pair of prank pants has finally sort of given up the ghost, but they lasted a damn long time through lots of hikes, workdays, bike commutes, etc... I expect these pants will last just as long as they have a very similar build to my old pair.

Second pair, I love them
I needed a pair of rugged pants for regular use outdoors with animals, but still professional enough to use in a workplace. These pants are perfect for that, coming with a handy fifth pocket for your cell phone ('media pocket') on your right hip, deep pockets, and double belt loops in the center of the back of the waste, which reduces the curly you get with pants falling below your belt. They're also extremely comfortable. I will continue to purchase these pants for work, hiking, and camping - I find that they are superior to traditional cargo pants/tactical BDU pants.

Expensive but worth it!
These are my go to work pants. I like the fit much better than cathartic brand canvas pants. These fit me perfectly. They don’t last as long as I wish they would but considering I wear mine every day to work they hold up pretty good overall! I do carpentry and job site management so they get a good workout. The color starts to fade after about 5-10 washings. They actually look better once the color does fade a bit. Great pants but expensive! I feel they are worth the money though.
