Q: Description says it's full grain leather. In the customer reviews picture "genuine leather" which one is it? there's distinct difference between them.

I'd ignore a customer review saying "Genuine Leather" because they almost certainly don't know the proper terminology concerning grades of leather. Anything stamped "Genuine Leather" by the manufacturer is a low grade product. Contrary to most people's idea, "Top" leather is not a quality indicator meaning "Top grade", it refers to the layer of hide used. Go by what the manufacturer labels their product as, not a customer that thinks "Genuine" means "good". "The fact is, the label "Genuine Leather" is purposely ambiguous, and meant to mislead the consumer". "In our industry, full-grain leathers, which include both layers, are the most desirable. The natural markings on the hide are attractive, and so it is not necessary to correct the surface appearance of the leather in any artificial manner. Top-grain leather is slightly less desirable. Split leather is much less desirable... "Full-grain and top-grain leather are about equally durable, but full-grain is higher quality". "The next step down in quality is bonded leather. Q: Can the bickle be replaced? Or is it stiched in place?

I replaced inferior buckle by unscrewing the metal fastener and cutting stitching on buckle, The whole thing came apart. Then I reassembled with new buckle without restitching, just rescrewing the fastener. Belt seems fine. Leather is a good value.
