Love both flavours. Nice and healthy, great to make my calories count.
Having lost over 6 stones and then putting on half a stone over the festive season I am back to eating only healthy food. I often get bored with eating the same snacks like fruit and salad so like to try healthy available options. When I saw these activated chips they sounded really good, so I wanted to give them a try.The first things I checked was the nutritional values, I like to make my calories count. Calories are low and the benefits of these chips are excellent. Sorghum has really good health properties, high in fibre and low in fat, it is really good for the gut.You get two flavours; sea salt and vinegar (which I knew I would like) and chipotle and lime (which I was intrigued by).I enjoyed both flavours; A chipotle is a smoked and dried jalapeƱo, paired with lime it gives a wonderful flavour which I really enjoyed, and I really enjoyed the sea salt and cider vinegar flavour too. The texture of these chips is really nice, I prefer it to corn or pea snacks.Great to have such an enjoyable snack that is good for me.

A good alternative to the humble crisp.
I love these crisps, they have a nice texture and punchy flavour.I did find a few in the bag that seemed harder or simply undercooked than others. The plus side of these crisps is they are high in fibre and good for the gut, a big plus in my eyes.

Quantity v cost
The cost of the product seemed high, considering the bags were not even half filled. Mostly air!

Over salted and an acquired taste
These tasted - interesting - at first. But the texture and the flavours didn't work for me at all and they tasted overly citrus and salty.

Very moorish - pack finished before I noticed š
I wasnāt expecting the big box that arrived and I certainly wasnāt expecting such large bags of chips. Each pack is 80gA nice and well thought out designed packet although no information on whether the bag is recyclable. All the pack says is ā make me new again ā with a doodle picture throwing the empty bag in a bin!Now letās get to the nitty gritty. Do I like these chips, no I donāt like them I love them. Iāve got 2 packets left and I can happily say I have thus far mullered the lot myself.I donāt like spicy things and the chipotle and Lime ones are a tad spicy š¶ for me but I persevered as they are lovely. So much so that Iād eat one pack a day. They are very moorish. With a glass of water next to me to cool my mouth down. The sea salt and cider vinegar ones I canāt eat all at once as the vinegar is pretty strong and left my mouth feeling a bit sore although still nice, but Iād have to say that the former were my favourite. They are described as a healthier alternative to ordinary chips and crisps. They are also vegan, gluten free and made from pea and rice flour. Iām not vegan but vegetarian and certainly appreciated the ingredients. The texture of the chip is rough and are also very crunchy so I had to chew very carefully with my sensitive gums!Nutritional values large and ingredients clearly placed on the packet. Even notification of possible soya content which is important info for people who donāt want to eat anything with a soya content. The pack also gives a manufacturer synopsis of what and why the chips are called āactivated snackingāThey donāt feel or taste greasy which I like. Might be an acquired taste for those not used to pea flour.I have to say that they are a bit high in calories ( the pack is 80g & 100g = 433kcalās) so would have preferred a smaller standard size as they are so moorish.Prime members get a big discount of 25% at the moment ( Ā£13.87) None prime members can expect to pay Ā£18.50 per boxI hope you found this review helpful

Not for me. Disappointed in taste/ flavour
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately, this is not for me. I wouldnāt exaggerate if i said that these were the worst flavoured crisps i have eaten.I really could not finish a single pack.although the ingredients are nice, the flavour did let me down significantly. This is not for me and i would not attempt to buy again ever, sadly speaking. The packaging is pretty for both products.

Perfect healthy option!
These activated chips are really tasty. They may be a bit strong for some people but I love them. The chipotle and lime is really nice and have a nice tang to them, the ingredients have cayenne pepper in and you taste the spice coming through. The salt and vinegar are also very tasty, the vinegar is quite strong, but similar to some high end branded crisps Iāve tried in the past. Texture is nice, softer than your usual crisps but still crunchy. It feels like you get loads in a packet which is great as so often now crisps are half empty. They fill you up, taste great and are a lot healthier than usual crisps. Theyāre gluten free, vegan, high in fibre. At around 92p per bag they are more expensive than most normal crisps but I would pay the additional price for these personally and would fully recommend this product.
