Just so that everyone is on the same page I would like to point out what my needs were when getting this case. I needed a compact case that would protect my speaker, more specifically the passive radiators, when throwing it into my backpack. It also needed to be able to play music while the speaker was in the case. With that in mind, here is my review of the Fintie Flip 3 Case.Looks:With the black PU leather, mesh covering, and brass colored snaps this thing has a nice rugged look to it that isn’t over the top. Think “casual”. The holes cut out for accessing the buttons are perfect and allow for easy visibility to the buttons as well as allow it to be charged while still in the case. I would have liked to have double stitching just for extra durability, but I can see where if that had done so the edges would not lay flat and have unpleasant bulging. The mesh that they used on the case actually reminds me of the mesh found on some running shoes, and seems to be fairly tough. The only ding visually, for me anyway, is the section of leather that goes in front of the JBL label on the speaker. It doesn’t seem to affect the sound quality being in the front of the speaker like that, but it just looks odd to me.Performance:I should probably note that this came in three pieces. Two “end caps” and the section that wraps around the main body of the speaker. It was very easy to put on the speaker, it just wasn’t how I pictured it would be. When I was putting it on my speaker I started to get worried that the speaker would get rotated inside the case and I would be constantly fighting keeping the speaker lined up. After getting it on and actually trying to turn the speaker myself, this was no longer a worry. The mesh that is on the case actually seems to grip the speaker very well to keep it from spinning. This helpful mesh is also on the “end caps” to protect the passive bass radiators, so unless you have a bunch of long sharp objects sticking up in your backpack you should be fine. Even with the case on, the speaker can still be stood up vertically. Conclusion:I had to go with three stars because the model that I received had a defective snap that I ended up super gluing together to make work, and the description for the product said it included a Carabiner Keychain Clip, mine did not have this item. However, if you are like me and just want to feel a little better about tossing your Flip 3 into a bag without having to lug around a bulky hard-case all the time, I would recommend this as a practical and inexpensive solution.***UPDATE***Fintie has since sent me a replacement case free of defects. It still fits my speaker just as well as the first one did. This case also does a great job of keeping my one year old from chewing on the speaker and from pushing on the bass radiators. Great customer service, as well as a stylish product that suits my needs.

Sleek and Functional!
Great case for the price! Adds protection to the speaker without adding unwanted bulk. Speaker does not slide or shift in the case and you can easily access all the ports and buttons. Highly recommend if you plan on using your speaker a lot and in high risk of dropping situations.

Great case - just a bit overpriced
4 star only because of the price. I dropped my Flip 3 and it landed with a sharp 'crack'. I decided I needed a protector for how I use the unit. This products concept is perfect; the fit and materials are good - I just felt the price was high but it is the only product like it I could find.

Great protective cover at a great price.
This is a great protective cover for this awesome little speaker. It provides plenty of scratch protection and yet it remains totally usable without taking it in and out of a regular case. It is also a great value, I would have easily paid double what I did for it.

Missing pieces.
Case arrived with only the middle part, no 'end caps' were in the packaging.

not worth it.
this holder is very flimsy, cheap material and snaps. i was hoping to return it, but it would cost +$6 to ship back which is 3/4 of what i paid for it.
