This is a cassette player. Mine has forward and reverse buttons. If this does not work for you run out the tape to the end and reverse tape, put back in player.

It uses what I would call the basic headphone jack size - the most common one. I don't know anything about size numbers.

Can we record music on to cassettes using this ?
