You never know it's there...
The best kind of protective devices are those you never notice from day to day. Such are these screens. The pack comes with 2 (versus 3 which some other quality brands offer) but it's sufficient. I'm a noob with these screens so botched the 1st one, getting a couple specks of dusts trapped between my Nexus 7 and the protective screen, producing annoying bubbles. Applying the 2nd was a piece of cake. Since then, I never know the screen's present as it is invisible and doesn't affect the touch-sensitivity of the tablet at all.My advice for anyone applying these: be paranoid about dust. The package comes with a quality micro-fiber cleaning cloth...USE IT! And use it dry, not with any sort of liquid cleaner. (If you have anything stuck to your screen, first remove it with a damp cotton cloth, let it dry, then use the provided cleaning cloth. Trust me.Another piece of advice for applying the film: start at the top/bottom of the tablet, only peel back an inch of the film, and line up the film on the opposite end of your tablet and either side while not letting the peeled-back portion of the film touching the tablet screen. (The inch portion of the film that peels off will curl under the film, holding the peeled-up end of the film off the device, so it's no big deal.) When you've got the bottom and a side aligned with the edge of your tablet's glass, hold it in place with one hand while proceeding to press down the peeled-back portion of the film, adhering it to the top edge of your tablet. Then, while holding the top edge of your film in place, let go with the other hand, reach underneath to grab the curled-under edge of the peeled-back portion of the film, then slowly pull it downward towards the bottom of your tablet while sliding your 'holding hand' downward on top to press it cleanly against the tablet glass. When you peel off the last portion of the film's protective cover, the rest of the film will drop into place. This didn't require using the provided scraper at all, and my 2nd film went on cleanly without any bubbles, and it was perfectly aligned.

WORKS, BUT FEELS DIFFERENT.
This is my first time installing this kind of screen protector, so I don't know if the pluses or minuses apply to other brands..The ítem arrived nicely packaged, and included everything needed for installation, as well as printed instructions and a QR link to an installation video. The seller also emailed me after the purchase offering help (if needed) as well as the link to the installation video..The screen protector film is "sandwiched" within two flexible plastic protectors, and is installed via a clever hinge method, which should prevent dust and bubbles on the screen..My Nexus 7 had been in use for several months without a screen protector, and so the screen was full of fingerprints, grease, whatever. The installation instructions neglect to tell how to clean a screen with these conditions, they asume the only contaminant is dust. They could improve upon this important cleaning step..I did the install in the bathroom, as suggested, with hot water running in the shower to reduce dust in the air..I took my time positioning the film over the screen. Indeed, I had to remove it and reposition it again until it aligned perfectly with the screen edges as well as the cutouts for the front camera lens. I suggest you be extra careful aligning the cutout. You can do this as many times you like, since you haven't yet removed any of the plastic protectors..After peeling out the first plastic protector the film dropped into position. A few seconds later without me touching it, it adhered itself to the screen leaving several bubbles. Most of them were easily removed with a few passes with the provided plastic squeeze card..However, one small bubble remained about one inch (25 mm) from the edge of the Nexus. I tried over 40 times removing it with the squeeze without success. I worried about damaging the underlying film with so many passes. I was ready to give up, and almost mechanically swiped the squeeze one more time... and success! I wish I could tell how I did it, but I just don't know either. The lesson: Keep going.(Perhaps installaton on a smaller screen is easier)..After that step, the rest was just as in the video and instructions..The end result: My Nexus now has a perfectly installed screen protector..I believe screen sensitivity is as good as without the film. The feel is however not as smooth as the glass surface. My fingers don't slide as easily as before. I don't know if this is normal for a just installed film, so I will keep using it for a while..Will report later if I find other noteworthy facts, or if the product fails over time.
