This is decent quality generic Dramamine, a drug that has been around since WWII and is a useful motion sickness and sleep aid. I've used other manufacturers product as a fisherman and in the Navy, it is a known medication whose side effects I am familiar with. If you are looking for an inexpensive bulk sleep aid or motion sickness remedy, this is a good choice.There is a small risk of stomach upset, especially on an empty stomach. If you are using this as a motion sickness remedy remember to eat something with it. Motion sickness is a real systemic problem that you should take seriously. Avoiding motion sickness is the best way to treat motion sickness and the best methods of avoidance are to rest and eat carefully before traveling. All the Dramamine in the world will do you no good at all if you are exhausted and a nervous wreck before you travel. It may seem odd that the best way to avoid motion sickness is to be fully packed a week before you get on a boat; but I've seen any number of folks get seriously sick because they left things to the last minute.Some people are extremely intolerant of motion sickness and this product will do little to help them. You are better off with a patch if you MUST engage in behavior where motion sickness is a risk. If you are seriously subject to motion sickness, you should not travel places where professional medical attention is not readily available.This is a good sleep aid with fewer side effects for me than Benedryl. This medication will make you drowsy, so avoid operating things that will kill you if your attention lapses while you affected.

This seems to work just as well as Dramamine at a MUCH better price. I don't use it for motion sickness but as an antihistamine for my allergies. Benydril makes my restless leg syndrome way worse so I have to avoid it. Dimenhydrinate doesn't have intolerable side effects.If regular OTC antihistamines or anti-nausea meds don't work for you and you can't afford a doctor visit and prescription meds, this could be a good alternative. It can cause drowsiness, but I only take one tablet. I use it as an antihistamine instead of Benadryl because the side effects of Benadryl are intolerable for me.If you are considering this product and take other OTC or prescription medications, please do some research and look up any potential interactions.

I have been using this product for quite some time now. It can't be beat for the low price, and how great it works. I have a chronic inner ear problem, so have been advised to use this OTC medication. It works within 20 minutes, and it works well. Better than Walmart brand, or even Dramamine at the same dose. You can't beat getting 1,000 tablets for only $21. Yes, that's one THOUSAND tablets, lol. Equate brand is sold in bottles of 100, and I've never seen Dramamine in pkgs with more than #36 tablets. It works great for nausea from motion sickness, or even to combat the upset and nausea that may result from prescription meds. Also works great for inner problems like vertigo.

This medicine was supposedly made for car sickness or the sea sick. The truth is, it is highly effective for any type of stomach upset. Even the stomach upsets that come with the flu. The trick is to take it as early with the onset of trouble as possible, Most generally if you keep it down 30 minutes the problem will pass. Often one tablet will do the job but in severe cases it may take two. Two tablets, if you are not use to the medicine, will put you to sleep. For men, over use could cause swelling in the prostate. But it is highly recommended for most stomach upsets.

I use as a sleeping aid - no where else could I find a large quantity. In addition, as I am allergic to some prescription anti-nausea meds, this product works better than nothing for nausea associated with migrainesMy vet also recommended for my 10 lb Silky who was super anxious during storms (he wore Thunder Shirts, which are a fabulous product as well). If I wasn't at home when the storm started, I was able to give my dog one generic Dramamine, put on his Thunder Shirt, and within 15 min, he was calmed.

I feel this equal to Dramamine in every way, I am prone to inner ear colds that can cause dizziness, this reduces it and helps me sleep at the same time. I hesitated when I saw a one star review but noticed they did not show that bought it at Amazon and all the other reviews were positive. I would highly recommend this, I intend on trying their other products as well seeing this is everything they said it was.

What. A. Deal.These pills are extremely quick-acting and effective - even moreso than the name brand ... and so cheap! I get motion sick very easily, and we're out on the water a lot - so I am thrilled to have found them. Good deal!

I am an adult who still gets carsick from time to time. Taking one of these will prevent me from getting ill. It allows me to read if I'm riding in a car, something I can't do without it. Also helps for nausea caused by other medications (as long as your doctor says it is OK).
