Must have
I hate writing reviews but I am thankful for all the reviews I can read. I therefore decided to write one for this product..It is by far the BEST primer I have ever used.I am 50 and my skin is oily one week, then dry the other week, then mixed. A real frustration when going through this annoying life changing phase called menopause. My under eyes are dark, my wrikles becoming more prominent. I am standing in front of my mirror every morning and realizing that I am getting older. I have tried the wide range of concealer products, from cheap to expensive, even the ones highly recommended. None of them really work if you don't want to look even older.I gave this product a try (amongst many others) and can't believe that $10 can make such a difference..I use it as a primer all over my face, incl the eye lids, under eyes, everything! I wait 5 min before putting on my make up which I blend with a beauty blender.I do not need concealer anymore. No pore minimizer. I can t believe it myself. My skin looks amazing, my eyes bright and fresh. It might not be the perfect product for everybody. But it works for me.. considering the price, it is worth trying!

Glowing from within!
I would probably never have used this in the past due to my oily skin but as I've gotten older my skin has become more dry and I'm finally comfortable with testing out the "dewy" look. I mix 1 pump of this primer with 3 pumps of my foundation. I'd recommend using a matte foundation with this product because it is so shimmery. It comes out white and pearly but mixes beautifully with foundation. It adds a gorgeous glow to your skin. This is my go to primer for glowing beautiful skin. I will say that I have huge pores so I usually apply a pore minimizing primer before I apply the mixture of this product with my foundation for a more flawless look. When mixed with foundation I think this is the perfect way to get that dewy look without looking like an oil slick on your face if you already have oily skin. I have combination skin and I'm absolutely in love with this product.

The best product on the market!!!
I’ve used Lumi primer for years and then it was no longer available. I searched for an equivalent product and never found one no matter where I shopped. Imagine my surprise and delight to find on Amazon again! So very very happy. The texture is light but effective! Can’t praise it enough!!

Not what I expected, but still pretty good
I've seen this product all over the YouTube beauty community and couldn't wait to try it. I have a problem with my skin being dull in the morning and this definitely brightens my skin tone, but it's a tad too watery for me. I usually only use it in places where I will put highlight on top of it and a thicker primer on the rest of my face. So it does what it says, but I just wish it was thicker and more similar to the other primers in consistency. I haven't tried mixing it with my foundation with it being so watery, but it gives a really nice glow though when I use it underneath.

Good primer with BareMinerals, no glitter.
I used to use this all the time and I don’t know why I stopped. I was looking at some old pics and I noticed I used to have such better make up. Hmmmm.....then I remembered this!I use this all over my face after my moisturizer and before my BareMinerals matte powder foundation. I especially like the effect of it under my eyes because I have very dark circles from genetics and allergies. It’s really subtle, no glitter or anything, just makes my skin look a little more hydrated or something. Also it helps my make up last all day.So basically, I it’s a primer to make my forty-something skin look a little more youthful without looking desperate.

Holy Grail multi-purpose!
I LOVE this stuff. I've been a faithful customer of the lumi primer simply because it's incredible. It gives you a certain flawless look when applied as a foundation thinner and gives you a beautiful glow when used as a highlighter.I use MACs studio tech foundation and because it's a full coverage cream foundation, it sometimes can be a bit heavy on my skin. What I do is scrape out as much foundation as I think I might need with a little spatula and then squirt some Lumi into it. Then I use my stippling brush to mix it up and then apply! It's so beautiful and gives you a dewy look without appearing oily in the slightest. It's one of my most recommended products for people with any kind of skin dullness

Has no beneficial effect on the skin.
This product is runny, with the consistency of water. When I first tried it, I shook it several times, then pumped a little on my fingertips and the product ran off as if I were holding my hand under the kitchen faucet. In spite of my reservation, I pumped more into the well of my hand and using a cotton make-up pad, saturated the pad and then applied the product onto my face. I did see, very very faintly, a sheen to the skin. I then tried various foundations including L'Oreal products ( I'm a make-up junkie) after first wiping the Lumi Primer onto my clean face ( I cleaned my face each time ) and there was no difference in how the foundations looked or the coverage it provided.. In sum, because it has no substance, no heft to it, it cannot provide any meaningful service. I should add that I followed one reviewer's suggestion and added a few drops to my different foundations. The only effect it had, by diluting my liquid foundations, was to reduce the coverage those foundations provided when not diluted by it. May I take up one second more of your time? Fifty years ago I did modeling to supplement my income as a new airline stewardess. L'Oreal used to produce some of the best make-up products in the world. I advise any reader of this review to be wary of products bearing the L'Oreal name. If you possibly can, go to a department store and sample before you buy.
