Living extended times on a boat and everything electronic being affected by the salty air, I purchased this old school hand drill my grandfather used. It works albeit you need to get used to it, but functionally it does the job and is a solid reliable tool to have when everything else stops working. I do keep it in a baggie and well-oiled to prevent rust, albeit it hasn't rusted - you know old school stuff :)

I love this hand drill! I use it more than my power drill for all of the little projects that don't require high torque or lots of drilling. I love that I can use it anywhere, no extension cord required! It's been sturdy and easy to use. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be a place to clip the chuck key so it's readily available and less likely to get dropped and/or lost. I would prefer to hang it by my workbench. Instead, I have to use the box to store the drill, bit set, and chuck key in order to keep them handy at all times. But that wouldn't stop me from buying it again. It's a great hand tool that has become an essential part of my workspace.

The package came had to do a little assembling of the drill one of the things that I did not find in the package was the 13 drill bits that were supposed to be part of the package I don't know if they fell out package was in good shape

I purchased this drill for my senior mom. She loves it. She does not need to ask anyone to use a power drill to hang up things on the wall. She installed a mirror using this. I borrowed this from her yesterday and was able to install some pantry shelves and a drawer for a desk. Highly recommend for drilling pilot holes and also for drilling holes for installation of anchors in drywall. It came with the drill bits and a case to put the drill bits in.
