Q: I installed this with my barracuda and the gears aren't moving when my pump is on. The barracuda still works and is pulling good suction. Any idea?

Mine was a waste of money. All it did was tangle up our hose. It would twist it so bad our barracuda couldn't clean our pool let alone keep it from getting stuck in the corners. I even had it installed by my professional pool service and it never worked out for me at all. We took it off,bought a new hose and threw the "Twister" away. Chock it up as a learning experience.

Q: Will this help with hose that gets tangled/coiled while cleaning the pool? My Kreepy Krauly loops back on itself while making laps creating tangles.

I didn't experience this problem when I used the Twister. However I discontinued using it as it stopped working properly because it got clogged with debris (leaves, etc.). Without the twister my Kreepy cleans my pool efficiently and doesn't get hung up in corners. The proper length of hose I believe is critical to avoid hang ups.
