Quality battery for electric reels

I bought the 7.8 Ah battery for its compact size and ability to connect directly to the reel. It is good on a short fishing trip and lasted the whole trip out about 6 hours. I ended up picking up the 15 Ah version in case I end up on a longer trip. It is recommended that you use the power cord to connect to the reel when using the larger battery. Both have a USB port which I used to charge up my cell phone several times when my area was without power for several days during a recent storm. The LED lights on the battery help to let you know how much battery life you have left.

Fire hazard! Do not buy!

I’ve had the item less than a year. After using 3-4 times during that year, I was fishing 40 miles out yesterday and the battery caught on fire. It damaged the seat of the boat before we could toss overboard. Do not buy these batteries. A few minutes later and we could have been swimming home.

works like a charm

Purchased this to power my electric reel on a deep drop trip. Battery arrived about 3/4 charged. Brand new condition and well packaged. The battery lasted all day and didn't even get close to being fully discharged. Battery is well constructed and should last a long time. Came with cords and charger plus instructions.

Will not hold a charge

Had the battery for 1 year with very minimal use, it will no longer hold a charge. Very expensive for only 1 year of use and only for one, 4 day trip. Used a few other times for real maintenance. Worked well when it did work.

Finally, a perfect electric reels battery for my Daiwa Tanacam 1000

I've used this battery for over a week now and couldn't be more pleased.I've try to use this battery gotten two days fishing. Obviously your mileage may vary, but this battery performs far better than inexpensive eBay batteries.The price is very reasonable as far as the current markets is concerned. It comes with everything you needs like cable, battery charger etc.(I'll follow up on this review next year to see how it's performing then)

These are expensive portable batteries. Costing $357.19.

What I liked was the size and weight. How portable it is to move around. But the problem started after one usage. It stopped powering up my electric reels. I was told through customer service bat power to check the battery to see if it charge my phone. But was without success. It shows all blue lights as fully charged but no current is running to my electric reels are phone to power up. It has a four and thee quarter out of a five. I only had a chance to use once.
