Little Giant Ladders, Leg Leveler, Ladder Accessory for Revolution and Xtreme, Aluminum, (12106)

This is the second leg leveler that I have purchased for my Little Giant. Nothing wrong with the first one, I just wanted to be able to work on un-level ground with the ladder setup as an A frame. This was also cheaper than the first one I bought. These things work great and are nice and stable for an add-on part. Very solid.

I like to rearrange paintings in my home, and moving some of them is nearly impossible, because of unusual places, or stairs that make it dangerous to attempt. I already had one of an earlier design that I had to swap from side to side depending on the slope. Purchased this so I would have a permanent on each side. This newer model is much less sturdy. The bracket that attaches it to the ladder is about half the thickness of the older model. The new bracket allows too much movement, much les desirable than the older model.Very disappointed in Little Giant for lowering the quality of this item.

I have owned one for years but you have two legs and need two levelers. At the cost of this thing I tried to justify the new extreme ladder but just couldn't pull the trigger. My ladder is old (around 20 years old) 22 ft tall and heavy as lead but still works as good as new. I gave it a two star even though it works find but there is so much better and easier to manage out there now.

They do work. Nothing to brag about. I have automatic levelers on a 16 ft fiberglass ladder that`s so much better. Unfortunately you can`t buy them for the Little Giant.. I had to buy one for each side so I don`t have take them off to use on the other side. Kind of time consuming so that`s why I bought a pair.

This leg extension works fine once in place. The instructions were a little lacking and I put it on backwards the first time, then realized my error. I'm small and it holds me fine but I don't know about a heavy person. It's a simple mechanism and is held in place by hand tightening a screw which made me a little skeptical. It feels like it may slide if not tightened down enough. I would suggest you go to the LG website and pull up the direction sheet so you see exactly how this works before you buy it. It will be a little awkward to change sides if need be so two would work better. This is much cheaper than the other solutions on Amazon so for the money is a good solution.

At first I thought this was going to have trouble on stairs given some other reviews, but the length does allow one to straddle two steps though it is a more comfortable fit if a landing is in between the ladder legs.The mechanism seems rock solid, a bit harder to adjust than some of the other competitive solutions for adjusting ladder length, but far lighter and less expensive than the alternative solutions.Well worth the $$ for piece of mind when working on stairs or uneven terrain outdoors.Update: several weeks later noting that this works equally well with the Little Giant clones: Vulcan ES-17T11G1 multi-ladder as well as Werner MT series.
