Bernie Mev Womens Rigged Jim Slip-On

Warning. This is long winded, but I hope it will be of use to you. I hate dry, unhelpful reviews, and I have taken it on as my personal task to fight against this and create informative, amusing (well, I crack myself up in any case) reviews. Happy reading....tldr; solid purchase.My mom has a pair of these in black. She loves them. My mother is a tiny elderly Asian woman, and comes from the generation where you crammed your feet into ill-fitting shoes, bones be damned! Podiatrists gotta eat too, right? Anyhow, her feet hurt her, and she has osteo issues and the like, so, comfort is paramount. And she prefers lightweight shoes. Like, she will heft a pair of shoes while we're shopping for them and go "no, these are heavy". Where you could have told me I was holding gel air and I would have believed you. She also has super tiny feet. Finding shoes for her can be problematic. "What?!!? They don't have a size five and a half?!!?" - My Mom.They had shoes in my mom's size. The upper material is a weave type thing and it accommodates her feet. They are amazingly lightweight. Because of the weave upper construction, they breathe. (awesome in Texas heat) They are well made. The metallic colour put her off a bit, as she likes true neutrals, but that's a personal thing. (We actually argued for a few minutes because she said they were 'green', so... - and they're not) They shipped out right away and we received them in a timely manner.They are comfortable (according to my mom) and are now her go-to shoes. I will end up buying another pair of these for her whenever she's worn these down enough or wants another colour. If mom's happy, everybody's happy.

The only reason these wonderful shoes don't get the 5 stars is the size is a little difficult to narrow down. I have 2 pair for myself & had to get smaller size on one of them. I've been attempting to get my Mother in Law a pair & her normal size was too small. I had to pay for that return but the replacement pair I made sure to get from a source with free returns... I have also bought for others in my life. I'm a fan!!!

I have another pair like this in another color that are the same size I ordered and they fit me fine. These were too small. I have several different Bernie MeV shoes and love them. So very comfortable? Do not know what happened with size this time. I will not order another pair on line without trying on as I hate to pay postage for something that did not fit. It was almost $15.00 to send back.

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes & I love them. They are so comfortable & go with everything I wear from shorts to slacks. I also have a couple of pair of Bernie Mev Catwalks but, I like these much better. My other pair of Rigged Jim's are the denim color & look great with jeans. I ordered my regular size & they fit perfectly. I can't say enough nice things about this shoe.

Not sized well enough for me and I didn't like the feel of the material on the top of my foot. That could be because they didn't fit well on me. I have a friend who only wears Bernie Mev, so It might just be me. This shoe seemed flimsy to me, too. The return process was easy.

I really like the Rigged Jim slip-on, but I bought a pair of Catwalk and do not like them very much. No support and they are difficult to keep on my feet.. Bought another of Rigged Jim in black and love them.

I wear a 71/2. The size I ordered was 71/2-8. The shoe is a little short with my big toe touching the end causing some discomfort after a while.

I have a bunion on one foot and these shoes allow plenty of room with their ability to stretch to be extremely comfortable.I definitely recommend them.
