SDETER 1080P Wireless Security Camera,WiFi IP Home Indoor Surveillance System with 360° Panorama Night Vision Motion Detection Pan/Tilt/Zoom for Baby Pet

I have purchased several of these cameras and so far am pleased.Setup is easy.1. Download camhi app to your phone2.Power up camera and wait until camera goes through booting,tilts up and down and pans full range left and right.3.After it stops you will hear a musical tone and then connect camera to router with Ethernet cable. After musical tone stops it's ready to add camera and setup wifi.4.Open camhi app, select add camera, go to settings menu and click wi-fi settings.Scan camera Id on bottom of camera,enter camera user name and password located on bottom of camera and then enter your password for your router wifi.Click Apply and it should tell you wi-fi was successful. Disconnect Ethernet cable and you're good to go. You can now setup all other functions, email notifications, motion alerts, audio settings,time zones etc.The camera picture with lighting or day light is very good and in color. At night in a completely dark room it is a black andwhite and is quite good for a room that is completely dark.I had problems with one camera and contacted customer service. They responded in good time and were very helpful in resolving the problem. I would rate their customer service as excellent.There are a lot of different brand IP cameras and one of the reasons I chose this brand because it has the dual antenna for better wi-fi reception.I have no affiliation with this company other than buying these cameras.

I had earlier model of SDETER 720p wireless camera (the one with a circle of infrared led's around the lens/case), and have been very happy with it, so thought I would have similar good experience with this newer 1080p model.Not so.There is zero branding on the item, box or sparse documentation. The documentation talks about a warranty, but there is zero contact information on the documentation.This camera did not work AT ALL. It is on its way back to Amazon, and I'll be looking for a different camera.

I'm thrilled! This let's me keep an eye on my 96 yr old mother in law. I set it up in just a few minutes. Read the insert and follow the instructions and it's pretty east. I left mom home alone while I ran to the grocery store. I pulled up the camera on my phone and kept an eye on her.It will be handy at night to check on her without having to get up and go to the other end of the house.This unit is inexpensive compared to others I found. I'm very pleased.

Very bad design, difficult to configure. To change WiFi network you will have to reset the camera. Can’t connect using a PC. No instructions. Instruction for phone app is poorly written on a small piece of paper. Very difficult to read. I have several of WiFi cameras and there are many better ones out there for just a few dollars more. I am sending it back.Otherwise the picture quality is rather good.

At first I was pretty happy with the purchase. Easily connected and ease of use. Then I read All the permissions the suggested App uses. It is a hackers dream, you literally give it full permission to access everything on your phone whether password protected or not. I refuse to open myself up for that unnecessary risk. If these cameras do not work with another App they are getting returned.

It is a little complicated to set up and gets confusing alot

This is a great camera once you get it working. For the camera in my picture the cam hi app did not work. I almost returned it but then I got the APP IPC360 by scanning the QR on the side of the box. Works flawlessly with that APP. Wish this camera had it’s own section on Amazon so that wouldn’t be so confusing.

It took me a dews try to get the WiFi connected, but once it connected the feed is really reliable, picture quality is pretty good for the price, the app besteye they suggest is very intuitive except for the pan , tilt controls. If you want to tilt the camera up you have to swipe down and to move left you need to swipe right.
