Great tool
These hedge trimmers are phenomenal, extremely sharp and well made likely to last a lifetime with proper care. But like most other reviews claim they are heavy so prolonged use would cause fatigue

Made to last, high quality item
High quality well made item, extension handles "lock" in place, blades are very sharp and make a clean cut, great for shearing ivy, shrubs and more. This is a "replacement" shear,, my old one wore out after 10+ years. Easy to sharpen and will last a long time if properly maintained. Great price, excellent performance and highly recommend.

Little heavy but seem of good quality
I got these clippers when my last no-name brand stopped working after two years. I have a lot of bushes to clip so two years is about the lifespan of the cheap clippers I have been buying. Hope these last at least twice as long. The first thing I noticed about these is their weight. The weight is not oppressive but they're a lot heavier than my other clippers. I've sharpened them with a Dremel and they seem to hold the edge quite well. The telescoping handles are a very nice touch. That makes these clippers quite useful for taller bushes. I believe the weight does add to torque because I seem to be able to clip thicker shoots than with the lighter clippers. There is apparently a learning curve in using them because I noticed I had clipped some bushes unevenly with these clippers. I've never seen that result before. But, as in most things, one adjusts to one's tools or discards them.

Great value!
These garden shears are great. Great quality, especially for the price . Only downside I have noticed is that when extended they might be a little heavy for some people. In my case that just speaks to the quality of the product!

Great quality!
I was really surprised at the quality of these clippers. Given the price, I was expecting a somewhat low-end product, but Corona really did a great job with this. The handles are steel and can be extended with a simple twist. They lock in at any spot with a positive click - very secure. The grip is very comfortable to hold using gloves or bare hands. The best part are the blades. They are forged rather than stamped, and come with a very sharp edge. After a fair amount of use the blades were still razor sharp. It also has a notch at the base of the blade for cutting larger stalks - handy for when you don't have hand pruners handy. The blade is straight and non-serrated, so it will be easy to re-sharpen when needed (I highly recommend the Istor sharpener). Has bumpers to minimize the jolt to your arms and shoulders when using it for long periods.I normally use a powered trimmer for my shrubs, but wanted a hand one for small jobs. This is so comfortable to use that I hardly use the powered one anymore! Now, this is a homeowner-grade model -- there's a reason why Felco or Bahco cost a lot more. But, unless you're a landscaper or have acres of shrubs, this will perform nearly as well as the pro brands at a fraction of the cost.Corona also makes other hand tools with the same locking extendable handles. I have the mini rake and find it to be an excellent performer as well. Note that Corona also makes a cheaper version of this with stamped blades. Spend the couple (and I do mean just a couple) of extra bucks and get this one - the blade will last much longer and hold an edge far better. I also looked at some of the Fiskcars (sp?) and found the build quality to be far inferior to this model - handles felt very flimsy, and not nearly as easy to use.Almost makes you look forward to cutting the hedges!

My Second Pair - Love These
After about three years of regular use, I had to buy another pair. I love these extendable hedge shears. I'm kind of short and really appreciate being able to extend the handles of these when trimming my tallest shrub. Most of the time I use these without long handles. These shears aren't too heavy, but heavy enough to withstand occasional "hacking" at limbs and thick vines. It holds it's edge well. I resharpened my first pair after about two years. On the third year the blades started losing their edge frequently and one of the telescoping handles got finnicky. It still worked but I decided I DESERVED a brand new pair.I highly recommend these shears for their durability and functionality. They withstand the rigors of a large home garden and yard very well.

functional, happy, worth the money
I'm using these to prune cattails under the water line in a pond. they are working great for that task! i can get multiple cattails in one snip, and my colossal project is going the fastest it's ever gone. a trimmer isn't meant for underwater. the pond razor was not working on the infestation i have going on. i don't have big manly tools to do it the SMART way, like a tractor or pond mower. these shears have created two lanes in the middle of the pond in a day! looks like i took a lawn mower over the top of it. it's the worst project ever, and i've tried going renaissance inventing possible solutions to this cattail plague (like pond shoes made from plywood and shoe laces, a battery operated hedge trimmer, and an expensively effective but valuable blade trimmer that i don't want to ruin in the water) but the best thing has been a simple pair of shears! they can go under the water! they can get a lot at once. they're sharp enough. the handles extend. they're not light weight but not crazy heavy either.

false information about handle length in description
I wanted clippers with handles between 25-30" . The description said these extended to 26" so I ordered them. When I got them, they only extended to 21" . I went back and checked the description and it does say 26". However the product details says 21". Don't get suckered in by the false information in the description like I did.

Cut very well but heavy
Big guy so no problem, but they can be heavy. They are very well made and sharp. Well worth cost.

Resistentes
Las tijeras son de buena calidad, aunque son bastante pesadas, mucho más de lo común, es muy satisfactorio que se puedan alargar, lo q le da un plus, pero el precio es muy elevado, que cada quien decida

Work very well but a bit dangerous
Great sheers. Been using then for a few months now and love them. Only problem is that you have to be careful carrying them as they don't stay closed. They flop open when you hold only one handle.
