Playlearn Oval Jellyfish Lamp; Fake Fish Tank with LED Lights - Artificial Aquarium

I waited a few months to write this in order to ensure it works well. I shopped around for this product and read many disappointing reviews. When I found this one the design made sense and it was positive feedback. So I tried it even though it cost a little more. It was worth it. Great design, beautiful and relaxing to look at, stays clean and acts as a great night-light. I used the distilled water and followed all directions. Very happy with this product.

I don't usually do product reviews, but this is really a great jellyfish lamp. I tried a couple of others that we didn't like. This one can be set up and operational in just 2-3 minutes. The jellyfish are very pretty, and their movements are so cool. The tank and jellyfish have a classy, expensive look about them. It is a little pricey, but I think worth it for a very unique, cool gift- especially for a jellyfish enthusiast like my daughter. I do recommend distilled water. Regular water has lots of bubbles, and it takes a few times of shaking the bubbles off the jellyfish while they're swimming (we used a wooden skewer) to get them to move as they're supposed to. Overall, great product.Update: still as great as day 1 almost a year later. My daughter runs it as a night light every night.

I bought it for my cat - she likes it, but I don't think she finds it as fascinating as I do. Relaxing to watch - easy setup and maintenance. Some have said the jellyfish stick together or gather in the corners - mine did that, also, but it is because of air bubbles. I took the handle of a wooden spoon, stuck it in the middle of each jellyfish one by one, moved the jellyfish down to the bottom of the aquarium and then, with the handle still stuck in the middle swished the jellyfish back and forth until no more small bubbles could be seen. This fixed the problem - you may have to do this each time you refill it if air bubbles get inside when you put the jellyfish in the tank.

This is a cute novelty gift. I enjoy watching the jellyfish dancing up and down and around . Please use DISTILL WATER ADD ABOUT 4 DROPS OF DAWN DISHWASHING LIQUID. Proceed to turn on the jellyfish tank, then add your jellyfish. So the attach water movement/current inside the tank will begin to move your jellyfish around. Now what I noticed is when the timer goes off in four hours, the jellyfish were floating at the top in the corners. I went to turn the tank back on the next day the jellyfish had very little movement and remained at the top and in the corners. So... wait for it... I got to thinking these silicone jellyfishes can not sink down far enough where the water movement/current inside the tank can effect their movement. So I decided to take a picture nail and poke 3 or so tiny holes into the jellyfishes and vila it work. The jellyfishes move down and the water current catches them and now they dance and swim. I hope this helps anyone who is having issues with this product. Three days now running 4 hours a day and no problems.

Absolutely love this moving jellyfish tank as it is a great addition to my son's room. It has a definite calming and soothing effect that helps him wind down at the end of the day. I like that the 5 jelly fish in the tank appear to be alive and swimming in this tank! We've also received a number of positive comments on the tank from other familily members that love the tank and will likely be purchasing one for their children as well.All in all, this is a great tank at an extremely reasonable price that I would recommemd highly to anyone interested in a life-like tank without the cleaning hassles of a tank of live fish.

The media could not be loaded. Bought it to help my son sleep (nightlight). He loved it, it worked great. 2 months after the purchase, the pump became so loud that we won’t turn it on anymore. It only runs for 4 hour periods of time before it auto shuts off. Purchased Jan. 6, 2023, and became loud about a week ago (End of March 2023).

We had a betta fish recently die. I wanted to get the kids something to watch without all the maintenance. This is a little pricey but my twins absolutely love it. The jellyfish look so real that they keep asking if I got them from the ocean. Setup was easy just be sure to follow the instructions. I used distilled water but still had a few small bubbles on the jellyfish. I popped the bigger bubbles with a straw. So far they're swimming along. Lamp is pretty, quiet and neat. Also I don't have to feed the jellyfish or clean the tank that often.

Arrived quickly, was very easy to set up (use distilled water) then add a few drops of dawn (It will make a huge difference in how well your jellyfish move). Poke the jellies in (upside down) with a long object ( I used a straw for mine) and try to avoid getting air bubbles on them if you can.The cord was a good length, and I don't hear it running so it's quiet. The jellyfish are so mesmerizing, and relaxing. Would recommend to friends and family.

Bought this product as a sensory stimulation for my 4yr old granddaughter, who is profoundly deaf. When it arrived I thought I had blundered as the box was marked 14yrs and above and was clearly not a toy. However, I need not have worried as the jellyfish display and it's constantly changing colours has provided her with endless fascination and obvious enjoyment and any parent / guardian with similar requirements may find our experience helpful.

This jelly tank is absolutely beautifull, it only took 20 minutes to set up and the jellyfish look so real, the unique shape of the tank adds to the experience of life like jellies, they dont get stuck in corners like a regular tank, they swim in all directions, and their tentacles move independently in the currant of the water jets, the selection of lights let the jellyfish glow in different colours each time a differant light comes on, it is truly beautiful every home should have one, very highly recommended, you will NOT be disappointed.

Lots of people having problems getting the jellyfish to swim. My top tips are to fill the tank absolutely to the top so that water starts to come out of the little hole in the bung, this will stop the fish collecting air every time they swim to the top. Secondly rub each jelly with a little dishwashing soap and push into tank upside down with a chopstick. Swirl the jellyfish around with the chopstick to release the air bubbles, you may have to do this a couple of times.

However the set up was easy, we used distilled water instead of tap water and put the jelly fish in upside down to prevent air trapping and the video supplied was the result after approx 60second set up!Lovely product and kept my 4 year old grandson mesmerised, as well as the adults.Makes a lovely night light feature in the bedroom too.

This is a reakky beautiful effect, very effective. So effective, in fact, that several people have asked what i feed them! Not cheap, but it's a lovely thing.
