Great monitor for the price
Great monitor for the price, especially if you're curious about the whole curved screen thing.Arrived fast, well packaged, plug and play HDMI to video card. I used my old cable, but they provide one in the box. No dead pixels or anything like that. The stand is all metal and as a whole the monitor looks very sharp. I purchased this to replace a 9 year old 21" HP monitor that had served me well but was starting to get some dead pixels and bright spots. WOW, what a difference. I almost underestimated how huge 32" really was. Initially I had been holding out for an LG 32" monitor that was out of stock and priced at $200. My choices were wait 1-2 months for it to be back in stock or spend $20 more on a 'lower quality' brand. After looking at the reviews of this guy and seeing that a lot of stars were docked for having to manually wake it up from power saver mode (which I don't really care about) I decided to give it a shot. I get my 32" monitor now for slightly more and have the added benefit of checking out my first curved screen. After a week, honestly the curved thing seems like mostly a gimmick (as I had read). It does add a bit of an immersion factor while gaming, but honestly that could just be the fact that I went from a 21" to a 32" monitor. It does add a nice 'cool' factor to your setup and less tech savvy people will definitely remark on it. I've already had a couple people go hardcore 'I WANT THAT'. You'll want to adjust the color settings and the like before making a judgment. They have a decent amount of presets in the menu but some will be more picky than me. I went with the gaming preset and am very happy with the colors/sharpness/etc. There's a good range of angle adjustment to suit your preferred viewing. Viewing angles themselves are great vertically and horizontally. Some cons:1. As close as you're likely to sit to this monitor, 1080p does start to seem a little lacking as far as resolution goes. If money isn't an option and you're getting up close to this size you may want to spring for QHD or 4k resolution instead, especially if your video card will permit those resolutions while gaming.2. No built in speakers, so plan ahead if you're used to just using your current monitor's speakers for sound. Honestly, you shouldn't be. That's coming from someone who used them for 9 years with that HP and thought they were fine. Then I got a simple $35 Logitech system with 2 desk speakers and a sub... wow. I knew it would be better but was kind of flabbergasted at just how much. It really makes whatever content you're consuming immensely more enjoyable.3. The monitor is a bit wobbly on the stand. Not a big deal, but I notice it when I go to manually turn it on after it goes into power saving mode.4. Power saving mode. As a lot of reviews mention, if left alone for a long while the monitor will go into a hibernation that it won't automatically come out of (solid red light). You'll have to reach around back for the button to turn it on when you come back. Not a huge deal for me. I know some folks will hate it. It DOES automatically wake up from the 'first' sleep setting that it goes into before power saving(blinking blue light).5. Backlight bleed. There's a fairly significant amount of it in my display. Unless the screen is totally black I don't notice a thing and it hasn't bothered me.All of these things are minor in my opinion and do not warrant taking any stars away from what is a fantastic monitor at $220. I would have paid a bit more even. This is my first Sceptre product and a week in, I'm very impressed.

Didn't work 2 months! **Updated to 3 Stars**
**Update** Much to my surprise, the new power supply actually seems to correct the issue. Hoping this one lasts more than 2 months. Increased from 2 to 3 Stars. Was initially excited for an inexpensive way to extend my desktop (I have a 32" Philips curved monitor already). Initially the Sceptre was easy to set up and adjust. Since I just use these for admin-type work, I honestly couldn't comment on the refresh rate or graphic quality, but it was "good enough" for my needs.I made the purchase on August 8, 2022. Here I am on *September 27th* - less than 2 MONTHS OLD and it completely blanked out on me. Funny that the return window is 30 days....I would normally say "luckily" I registered it for the warranty (which I did), but when I attempted to call the 800# (surprise!) there were no agents available but I was welcome to use the online chat instead. So I began an online chat session because it said it was "Available." When I submitted my request (surprise!) I was told there were NO agents available. So I typed that I had made two attempts to resolve this with the manufacturer and would now be attempting to return it to Amazon for a refund - and guess what (you'll NEVER guess!!) - all of a sudden, an agent becomes available and wants to help! Wild, eh?So, they say there's really no troubleshooting that can be done since it doesn't show power anymore. They claim they're sending me a new a/c adapter and, if that doesn't work, then we will have to place a warranty claim. I'm not expecting this to go smoothly.I think I would have preferred to just spend the extra money and buy from N3w3gg instead.

I was ready to send it back! Horribly washed out colors on stock settings. Nvidia graphics settings in photo fixed it. 75hz
Ok, so I bought this monitor in the 27-inch version and it was decent, but it had a wobbly stand and I was a curious about whether I would like the extra real-estate of the 32". So, I went ahead and ordered the 32" and I was incredibly disappointed in it just like I see a lot of the reviewers are here with their 1-star reviews. The screen still wobbles because the stand isn't very sturdy, so I recommend a sturdy desk (mine is kinda crappy) or to mount the monitor if possible. When you turn this monitor on, at least for me and it seems many of the other reviewers, the text is hard to read and the colors are terribly washed out. Almost like the gamma and white color balance are messed up causing none of the colors to pop and everything to appear a little grayed out. I messed around for a half hour with the various different settings on the monitor and just could not for the life of me get this screen to look anything other than awful. The fix for me was not disabling the RGB range like the one reviewer did with his AMD branded card, but to actually let Nvidia color settings take over instead of the default ones. I do not know why it is like it is, but as soon as I let Nvidia's control panel take over it made the screen look comparable to other screens and televisions I've used. I adjusted the settings slightly to my liking, but basically stayed pretty close to the exact settings that the Nvidia drivers set up for me.I suspect that your mileage will vary depending on what graphics card you are using and possibly even which cable you are using. Don't give up though and play around with the settings before you give up and throw the thing out in the trash like I was about to do.Also, yes, this monitor is 75Hz, since I see that question being asked fairly often. All in all, after getting the colors set up right I'm satisfied with my purchase. Am I blown away by this monitor? No, absolutely not, but for less than $200, a 32" monitor, 1080p, 75Hz, and a curved screen. It's really hard to beat that for the price. And sure I'd love to have a 4k IPS panel with 144Hz and I even have the funds to buy one if I wanted to, but to me the prices on these gaming monitors are insane and some of them cost almost as much as the 80" 4K TV in my living room. No thanks, I'll wait for the prices come down and go on vacation instead.

First one not good, second one is perfect.
This is my second monitor, which the first was returned after a few days when I noticed the dreaded dead pixels. At first I thought I saw only two, but then I spotted two more while I was deciding if I should return it. Thankfully with free returns it was no hassle at all. I threw out the old box but when the replacement monitor came in I just used that box and sent it out free of charge. I probably wouldn't have given this monitor five stars if I had to pay for any return shipping or dealt with a hassle.Besides that, let me say the price for this monitor is honestly ridiculously low. If you look for a monitor of this size from another more "respected" brand, it is pretty much triple the price. Sceptre is a brand I know very well due to the fact that all of our TVs in our home are Sceptre, so I can definitely vouch for the quality:price ratio and say that what you get for the price is a true good value.I remember before buying this that people claimed the text or picture was blurry, among also the outline of the monitor where it looks faded. For me, all it took was playing with some of the settings which included lowering the brightness and upping the backlight. Unlike what some people claim that their black colors are a dark grey, mine are actually black. I have never owned a monitor and just used it with default settings, I do think no matter what kind you have you should always mess with them until the colors look right to you.I see no blurriness either on mine, either in text or otherwise; everything on my end is crystal clear. So other than brand name, what else do you end up paying triple the price for? I think a lot of it would have to be the QC considering my first one never should have passed such an inspection. For the price you also may deal with minor issues like that, but of course it wouldn't be minor if it wasn't for the easy return policy. Because of all that, I have to recommend this monitor wholeheartedly and give it a 5-star recommendation. I do not know what else I could expect from a monitor at this size, let alone the price. I am not out to get 4k resolution so if you are looking for something that crisp and clear then no this monitor can't supply it, but if regular 1080p quality is more than enough (as it is for most people), then I would say buy the monitor without even thinking about it.

Nice large display with some drawbacks
I have had one other monitor before this, the Asus VS239H-P, so that will be my point of reference.Whenever I would try to split screen in games with another person on the 23 inch monitor I had, we would have a hard time seeing what was going on, especially regarding distant objects. It was time to upgrade to a larger display. I wanted something large, but with the same 1080p resolution so I would not need to readjust graphics settings for performance. In the end, it came down to two options; the Sceptre C325W-1920R or the LG 32MA68HY-P. I went for the Sceptre since it was curved and a review for the LG monitor mentioned burn-in issues. Here are some of my impressions:+ The screen is not too large, and not too small. It fits my size requirements excellently+ The curve isn't obnoxious. It's appealing when it comes to both the image and the overall aesthetics of the monitor itself, giving a premium vibe.+ Nothing wrong with image clarity. Text and graphics are all clear.+ Viewing angles are not as good as advertised, but still very good compared to a standard TN panel.+ Price is very reasonable- Ghosting is VERY apparent when compared to the Asus monitor I had. There is no obvious way to improve this.- This is definitely not an IPS display. Colors are not as rich or accurate.- It seems that this was an HDTV display stripped of its TV components and converted into a monitor. The fact that it does not support full range RGB input is evidence of this. (Make sure you have it set to limited RGB in your GPUs control panel settings, or else blacks will appear very crushed)Overall, considering the price, I am satisfied with the display. I can live with the slightly worse color reporduction, but the ghosting issue is something I need to adjust to. I plan to keep it for a few years.EDIT: 07/10/2017I believe I have finally gotten used to the ghosting. It's not longer an issue. However, I did notice some uneven light passing through some parts of the display in odd shapes, probably due to the curve. It's only noticeable when viewing pure black or very dark images, though. I won't be removing any stars- it's still a great product that I am enjoying for PC gaming.

A nice monitor
First I just received this unit today. The likes: First it is lightweight, picture quality out of the box is good. A little washed out but it is adjustable to be excellent. It is easy to use once you figure out how to perform the adjustment using the buttons on the rear of the unit. I suggest future models have the buttons mounted in a manner that you can see which you are touching vice doing it by feel. Putting the unit together was not difficult once I tossed the manual into my workbench drawer. The manual tells you how to take the base off better than putting it on. Unlike other reviewers since the first thing I did was perform the monitor adjustment I had no difficulty reading the text in windows 10. My setting at the moment is for RTS gaming but I may opt for something else once I get used to the unit. No blurred text. My dislikes were the base mount. not a very sturdy mount so I see why they recommend using a display tiedown. Picture quality is very nice for the cost but is a bit washed out until I performed the picture adjustments. So far no dead pixels. Durability while very good I docked a star as it is made of light weight plastic and has a wobble because of the type of base mount it uses. Overall I like the unit since I was able to get it at the best price possible (free with CITI thank you points) Samsung would be better but then the price is much higher and I don't have the points for that one. I still have no issues after 2 weeks. No Bad pixels and the monitor is holding up nicely.

Very happy
A few of the reviews I read regarding the Sceptre monitor caused me to wonder a little, but I've had a smaller Sceptre monitor for years without any problems. I'm very pleased with this one also. It came well packaged and I had it up and running in short order. I've got my own speakers hooked up so don't need the built in speakers. The picture is great for me and the games I play online. Glad that I went ahead and purchased it because I'm on it every day.

Honest opinion review!
Okay so I do have something to say about these monitors because I bought 3 for a triple setup... Thing I liked about these monitors are the size for the money. They are really well built! Have a really nice perfect curavture! Just perfect when it comes to the build of the monitor. What I did not like is what people usually complain about down in the comments which is the screen being a bit blurry... -__- they are right YES and NO. When they say the text is to blurry or you can see every pixel. It's a lie. The text is fine... It does reduce resolution even if it is 1080p. It's stretched to 32" guys c'mon... It's not to blurry at a difference when gaming but is fairly noticeable up close. The thing that is really noticable is the black LED's on this monitor which are horrifyingly grey instead of black. Like a washed out black. I think this would be due to the backlight. Other than those 2 things this monitor is REALLY REALLY GOOD! SPECIALLY with 3!1/12/2018The Monitors are still holding strong. I have recently added a Samsung sound bar above the monitors for extra sound, it came with a wireless subwoofer. Last night I thought I saw the left screen that ive been using flicker but I think it was just for a moment due to how much power im consuming. trying my hardest to figure out how to mount all three of these but cannot. TOO BIG. Will keep updating. If you have any questions or if this review helped you out. leave a like an comment below! Thanks.

Good for the price
I've been using this monitor for about a week now. Upon first hooking it up to my PC, I immediately noticed why there are many negative reviews about this monitor claiming blurriness and washed out colors. Depending on what your graphics settings are, obviously the initial picture is going to look displeasing. It took me some time over the course of 3 days before I finally got a good picture dialed in, but now that I have, I'm very satisfied with this monitor. The key for me outside of changing my resolution in my graphics card settings and tinkering with the brightness and contrast via my graphics card and the menu button on the monitor itself was turning down the saturation of every color via the monitor's menu. After initially switching to a higher resolution, slightly turning down the brightness, and slightly turning up the contrast, the colors still seemed too saturated and were bleeding into each other. Turning the saturation down from 50 to 45 for every color did the trick for me. If you're patient enough to keep adjusting your settings until finding a picture detail that suits you, this monitor is well worth the $180 price tag. Combine this monitor with a nice set of external speakers (because yes, the one built into the monitor does kinda suck), and you'll have yourself quite a nice setup for not a whole lot of money

Excellent value for money
The monitor arrived properly packaged within a week of placing the order. However, the neck of the stand was of another model, so there was no way to assemble it. However, Sceptre's customer service was excellent, and it took just 5 minutes of registering the monitor on the website and 10 minutes on the phone for them to ship out the correct part, which arrived within 2 business days. Once I had it, assembly took only a few minutes. It is a sturdy and well-built piece, and it looks quite nice too.The picture quality is quite good, although some adjustments in the monitor and OS settings are required to achieve best results. Text looks crisp enough once ClearType calibration is done, and video quality is also decent. The 75Hz refresh rate gels very well with the MSI RX 580 while gaming, and there is zero lag. I do not have a problem with visible pixels while sitting 2 to 3 feet away. There are no dead pixels or noticeable bright/dark areas. The curve is pleasing without being distracting, and it makes gaming slightly more immersive - especially in dark surroundings. The sound quality is OK, although since I use dedicated speakers/headphones, I have not really tested them. I did try AMD's Virtual Super Resolution, but it did not look very good. The bottom line is that this ticks all the right boxes for a gaming monitor at this price point. Do not expect extremely fine image quality or high contrast/color depth, and you will not be disappointed.

Great!!! FOR THE PRICE.
Very attractive curved screen and slim metal bezel. Some less attractive features are that you have a very slim black box all the way around as your image will not fill all the way to the metal bezel, it is a very small amount but noticeable. It has noticeable bright spots as if there are only a few leds lighting the screen, this is what i see and assume to be the case. Blacks are not as great as on more premium monitors as well but all colors in general seem very subdued. I attempted to adjust the settings and get a warmer bright picture and it is just not gonna happen. Dont get me wrong, this is a very nice monitor but the colors will not impress, nor will the brightness. I dont feel it is bad enough to return as i am very pleased with the aesthetic of the monitor overall and the performance is good. I use it for basic computing, xbox one, and movies. The curve still seems like a gimmick but i do like it and most of all is the wow factor from people who see it for the first time. Feels like a solid build for the price point, they saved money on the actual panel though.

Have to say I'm pretty happy with this monitor after using it for a few days now.I'm a web developer so I'm on it all day every day and have been primarily working on a 17" laptop screen.I was a little unsure on it at first as I'm so used to sitting right up on the screen which you really don't want to do with this otherwise you'll see every pixel. Not a flaw with the monitor, it's just what happens when you fit the same pixel resolution across a 32" screen as apposed to a 17" so of course you're going to see pixels on it. Once you find the right distance though it's actually pretty nice and the curve I would say is just about right. You do get some light bleed on blacks on the edges and the stand doesn't adjust up and down, only tilt but I just sat it up on a box and it works just fine.I originally looked at ultrawides and 4k monitors but just couldn't bring myself to drop $800 - $1,500 on a monitor and figured if I ended up liking this one I'll just get a second one as a dual monitor setup (which I think I'll do).l

You will need to tweak this before it looks great
For the price this thing is hard to beat. A lot of people are complaining about black being washed out. This is partially true, but it's mostly due to the monitor being set too bright as a default (On the monitor I dialed it down to 50% from something like a default of 80%) and then adjusted the brightness/gamma/contrast on the monitor and NVIDIA control panel. Took me about 2 hours of playing with all these settings to get everything balanced. I have a clean white screen with clear text and decent black representation (it's NOT grey) just **slightly** washed out. Ironcially, Fallout 4 helped me tweak the settings as I know what I should be able to see at night in the game and this helped me tweak the video settings to a perfect balance. One thing I noticed is that the LEDs that are backlighting this monitor will bleed on the edges at higher brightness settings which is annoying as heck. Reducing the brightness to a non-blinding brightness elimintated almost all the light bleed on the right/left edges and overall made the screen much more evenly lit. Overall for less than $200 this is a fantastic monitor for the price.

Game changer
The dry background - I do fuel taxes for semi trucks. I am looking at text, images of receipts, and entering data into my software and state sites. Loooong hours staring at the screen every 3-months.Also I am blind in one eye and have issues with my "good" eye.I had been using a 24 inch monitor and my 17 inch laptop screen. My business tripled this quarter and I said "enough".Text is crisp, great real estate, and quality build.I have not adjusted the color like others suggest and can see how that will only make this better.I am not using this for gaming or movies so can't say how that will work.I did take a break from data entry and did a little marketing work on my website and video editing. And it did not disappoint.Only thing that I would warn is that with the size of the screen you will need to make sure that you have enough space between you and the monitor to really make it work for you. Otherwise, it is like sitting in the front row of an Imax movie.I will be ordering a second monitor and using monitor arms to mount. I was not sure if the curved screen was going to be something that really made a difference. It does and I am geeking out on the prospects here.
