The stand is a very nice weight and looks stunning with the cake. The bakery who delivered the cake asked me where I bought the stand; and I provided the information. I like that the base can be removed from the top for easy storage and in case you don't want to raise the display. Very nice weight; very good quality. Pleased with the purchase.

Although this was a little pricier than I would like, it is a beautiful cake stand. The price has gone down now from when I bought it (its less than 75 dollars now, which I think is reasonable). I thought it was pretty heavy, but I was expecting it to be lighter because it's not ceramic and even though the description says metal, it looks more like plastic to me in the picture. However, in real life, its metal and looks really classy. I used this as the cake stand for my wedding and it photographs really well, which was not something I was looking for in a cake stand, just something I noticed after I got my wedding pictures back. It doesn't over power/take away from the cake, just simply adds that little something extra.

Gorgeous table stand. Purchased the 16 inch size for my wedding cake. However, the bakers had to use the base without the pedestal to ensure the cake did not fall over (3-tier cake with columns; photo only shows part of the cake). It was still gorgeous. If I had known better, I would have purchased the 18 inch stand since the bottom layer of the cake was 14 inches. This was fine, but the 18 inches would have been more perfect. Suggestion to future buyers: always buy a stand that is 4 inches (diameter) larger than your largest cake layer. :) Good luck!

Bought this for my daughter’s wedding and the cake looked amazing on it! The stand came packaged so carefully and thoughtfully...I knew it was a quality item which is what I wanted for such an important celebration. I would absolutely buy this again and I highly recommend it!

Cake pedestal plate is just what I was looking for - a beautiful footed cake stand that is sturdy and will lend a touch of elegance to wedding and anniversary cakes. It was packaged very carefully and appreciate the fact that it can be used without the weighted pedestal if desired. Thank you for a well-crafted item.

I was looking for a set of complementary stands to do a tiered look, and ended up ordering two of these. The base is detachable, so I'm using one with and one without the base to give the cakes a stacked look, and it really looks great like that. They are gorgeous, well-made, and sturdy. Shipping was also WAY faster than the estimate given and the stands were well-packed in styrofoam for protection.

The Victoria Antique Gold 16 inch Cake Stand was the perfect height for my daughter's wedding cake. The only downfall, which was not much of a downfall, was that the gold was just a little darker than the rest of the gold decoration. We look forward to using this cake stand again for many more wonderful and memorable occasions.
